Mechanizationisnottheanswereither-notyetatleast.Productionofcorn,cotton,rice,
soybeansandwheathavebeenlargelymechanized,butmanyhigh-value,labor-intensivecrops,
suchasstrawberries,needlabor.Evendairyfarms,whererobotscurrentlydoonlyasmallshare
ofmilking,havealongwaytogobeforetheyareautomated.
Asaresult,farmshavegrownincreasinglyreliantontemporaryguestworkersusingtheH-2A
