1Scope

Thisdocumentspecifiestechnicalrequirements,testmethods,inspectionrules,marking,packaging,transport,storage,accompanyingdocumentsandpurchaseordersofcrudelithiumcarbonate.

Thisdocumentisapplicabletothecrudelithiumcarbonateprocessedorrecoveredfromlithium-containingminerals,lithiumionbatterywastesandotherlithium-containingmaterials.

4Technicalrequirements

4.2Moisturecontent

Themoisturecontentoftheproductshallbenotmorethan30%.

4.3Appearancequality

Theproductshallbewhite,pale,graypowder-shapedorblock-shapedwithoutanyvisibleinclusions.

5Testmethods

5.1Themethodofchemicalcompositionanalysisoftheproductshallbeagreedbythesupplierand

purchaser.

5.2ThemoisturecontentoftheproductshallbedeterminedaccordingtoGB/T6284.

5.3Theappearancequalityoftheproductshallbeinspectedvisually.

6Inspectionrules

6.1Inspectionandacceptance

6.1.1Theproductsshallbeinspectedbythesupplierorathird-partyqualityinspectiondepartment.Thesuppliershallensurethatthequalityoftheproductcomplieswiththeprovisionsofthisdocumentandthepurchaseorder.

6.1.2Thepurchasermayinspectthereceivedproductsaccordingtotheprovisionsofthisdocument.Iftheinspectionresultsdonotcomplywiththeprovisionsofthisdocumentandthepurchaseorder,thepurchasershallputforwardnonconformitytothesupplierwithin30daysfromthedateofreceiptoftheproducts,whichshallbeagreedbythesupplierandpurchaser.Incaseofanyarbitration,itshallbedeterminedornegotiatedbybothpartiesthroughjointsamplingforarbitrationat

thepurchaser'ssite.

6.2Lots

Theproductsshallbesubmittedforinspectioninlots.Thelotmethodshallbecarriedoutaccordingtothelotofincomingmaterialsfromsuppliersoragreedbythesupplierandpurchaseronsite.

6.3Inspectionitems

Eachlotofproductsshallbeinspectedforchemicalcomposition,moisturecontentandappearancequality.TheinspectionitemsandsamplingrulesshallbeasspecifiedinTable2.

6.4.1Eachlotofproductsshallbesampledfromeachbag.Thesamplingamountofeachbagshall

benotlessthan0.2%.

6.4.2Thesamplingpointofeachbagshallbeevenlydistributedintothetop,middleandbottomthreepointsaccordingtoanydiagonallineonthesideofthebag.Asampledrillrodshallpenetratebothsidesofthepackagebagandthenrotate180degreestopullout.Andensurefullloadingofsampledrillrod.Ahandhammercanbeusedtoassistsamplingwhenmaterialsarenoteasytopenetrate.Eachsamplefromthedrillrodshallbepromptlypackedintoaplasticbagandsealed.

6.4.3Thewholelotofsamplesshallbeloadedintowovenbagsandsealed.Allsamplesineachlotshallbethoroughlymixedanddividedintoapproximately1.0kgbygridmethod.Thesamplesshallbedriedat105°C±2°Ctoconstantweight.Thesamplesshallbegroundedandpassedthrougha0.250mmstandardsieveandthreesamplesweretakenaftermixing,eachofwhichisnotlessthan100g.

6.4.4Eachofthreesamplesshallbeputintoacleansealedcontainerandlabeledrespectively.Onesampleforacceptanceanalysis,oneforthepurchasersampleandoneforthesuppliersample.Incaseofanyarbitration,itshallbenegotiatedbythesupplierandpurchaser.

6.5Inspectionresultsjudgement

6.5.1ThechemicalcompositionandmoisturetestresultsofproductshallbemodifiedasspecifiedinGB/T8170andjudgedbymodifiedvaluecomparisonmethod.

6.5.2Ifanyitemofthechemicalcompositionandmoisturetestresultsofproductsdoesnotconformtothisdocument,doublesamplingshallbecarriedoutinthelotandunqualifieditemsshallberetested.Ifoneitemisstillunqualified,thewholelotshallbejudgedunqualified.

6.5.3Iftheappearancequalityofproductsisunqualified,thelotofproductsshallbejudgedunqualified.

7Sign,packaging,transport,storage,andaccompanyingdocuments

7.1Marking

Theouterpackagingofproductsshouldindicate:

a)productname;

b)lotnumber;

c)netweight;

d)suppliername;

e)factoryaddress;

7.2Packaging

ProductsshouldbepackedinwovenbagslinedwithaluminumplasticbagsorPEbagsandsealedwithanetweightof200kg~500kgperbag.Itcanalsobepackedaccordingtotherequirementsofthepurchaser.

7.3Transport

Productsshallbehandledcarefullyduringtransport.Takemeasurestopreventfrombreaking,rainproof,waterproof,etc.

7.4Storage

Productsshallbestoredindry,ventilatedwarehousesfreeofcorrosivematerialsandshallnotbemixedforstoragewithacid,alkali,oilandotherchemicals.

7.5Accompanyingdocuments

Eachlotofproductsshallhaveaccompanyingdocuments,whichshallincludesupplierinformation,productinformation,thisdocumentnumber,productiondateorpackagingdate.Itshouldalsoinclude:

a)productwarranty:

•Mainperformanceandtechnicalparametersofproduct;

•Productcharacteristics(includingmanufacturingprocess
