ADuM1200

isolatorsprovidetwoindependentisolationchannelsinavarietyofchannelconfigurationsanddatarates(seethe
OrderingGuide).
Bothdevicesoperatewiththesupplyvoltageoneithersiderangingfrom2.7Vto5.5V,providingcompatibilitywithlowervoltagesystemsaswellasenablingavoltagetranslationfunctionalityacrosstheisolationbarrier.Inaddition,the
ADuM1200
/
ADuM1201
providelowpulsewidthdistortion(<3nsforCRgrade)andtightchannel-to-channelmatching(<3nsforCRgrade).Unlikeotheroptocoupleralternatives,the
ADuM1200
/
ADuM1201
isolatorshaveapatentedrefreshfeaturethatensuresdccorrectnessintheabsenceofinputlogictransitionsandduringpower-up/power-downconditions.

CombininghighspeedCMOSandmonolithictransformertechnologies,theseisolationcomponentsprovideoutstandingperformancecharacteristicssuperiortoalternatives,suchasoptocouplers.
ByavoidingtheuseofLEDsandphotodiodes,iCouplerdevicesremovethedesigndifficultiescommonlyassociatedwithopto-couplers.
