businessandinsellingadvicetobusinesseshavehistoricallybeenmore

interestedintheneedsofbigbusiness.Inpart,intheUKatleast,it

isalsobecausesmallbusinesseshavealwayspreferredtoadaptto

changingcircumstances.

Theorganisationalproblemsofentrepreneurialorsmallbusinesses

arethusforcedupontheindividualswholeadthem.Evenmoresothanfor

biggerbusinesses,theoldsayingistrue-thatpeople,particularly

thosewhomaketheimportantdecisions,areabusiness,smostimportant

asset.Theresearchthatdoesexistshowsthatneithermoneynorthe

abilitytoaccessmoreofitisthemajorfactordetermininggrowth.The

mainreasonanentrepreneurialbusinessstopsgrowingisthelackof

managementandleadershipresourceavailabletothebusinesswhenit

matters.Giveanentrepreneuranexperienced,skilledteamandheorshe

bit.

Partoftheproblemforentrepreneursisthespeedofchangethat
