95percentofschoolbusesrunongas,whichisproventocause
respiratorydiseasesandworsenexistingconditionssuchasasthma.
Pollutionfrompetro-fueledschoolbusesisharmingour
children,shealthandcontributingsignificantlytoglobal
warming,“saidAndreaMcGimsey,EnvironmentAmericaGlobalWarming
Director."Ourresearchshowsthatwhetherthey'reboardingthebus
oronthebus,kidsareexposedtopoisonousairinhigh
concentrations.Electrifyingourbusesisacommon-sensesolutionfor
