动词不定式(1)动词不定式的构成动词不定式的基本结构为“to+动词原形”,在句中不能作谓语,其否定形式为“notto+动词原形”。(2)动词不定式的句法功能功能说明作主语动词不定式作主语时,常常用it作形式主语,把不定式放在后面。作表语多数情况下,不定式作表语可转换为作主语。作宾语作某些动词的宾语,一般不作介词的宾语。作宾补在make,let,see,hear,watch等使役、感官动词后,不定式省略to。但在被动语态中,to要还原。作定语不定式作定语要放在所修饰词的后面。作状语动词不定式往往作目的、原因或结果状语等。

①动词不定式可以用在疑问词what,how,when,where,which等之后,共同作主语、宾语、表语等。②动词不定式的逻辑主语前用for还是用of的区别:当使用for时,句中形容词修饰的是不定式;当使用of时,句中形容词修饰的是逻辑主语。与for连用的通常是一些表示可能性、难易程度、必要性等含义的形容词,如possible,impossible,easy,hard,difficult,necessary等;与of连用的通常是表示赞扬或批评的形容词,如kind,nice,wise,clever,foolish,careful,careless,polite等。考点2

动名词(1)动名词的构成动名词一般由“动词原形+-ing”构成,相当于名词,可作主语、宾语、表语和定语。(2)动名词的句法功能①作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。②作动词和介词的宾语。③作表语。④作定语,置于所修饰词前。

部分动词既可加动名词作宾语,又可加不定式作宾语,两者意义区别较大。
