andbluetaxisinSingaporesuggestedthatyellowtaxishavefeweraccidentsthanbluetaxis.Thehighervisibilityofyellow

makesiteasierfordriverstoavoidgettingintoaccidentswithyellowtaxis,leadingtoaloweraccidentrate.

ThestudywasledbyProfessorHo.Totestwhethertherewasacausalrelationshipbetweenthecolorofataxiandthe

numberofaccidentsthetaxihad,theresearchteamanalyzeddatacollectedbythelargesttaxicompanyinSingapore.The

researchersfoundthatyellowtaxishaveabout6.1feweraccidentsper1,000taxispermonth.

Theresearchersalsostudiedtheeconomiceffectofchangingthecoloroftheentirefleetoftaxistoyellow.TheSingapore
