1.了解状语从句的分类情况及各种状语从句中经常使用的连词

2.能够在真实的语境中判定从句与主句的逻辑关系，从而能够使用恰当的连词完成交际.

3.能够辨别同类状语从句中近似连词的用法区别.

三状语从句的定义、功能、分类

定义：在复合句中作状语的从句

功能：状语从句在主从复合句中修饰主句中的动词，形容词或副词，或整个主句

分类：按意义可分为时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、条件、方式、比较、让步等状语从句。

▲常见考点：

考点一、主句与从句的时态呼应问题；

考点二、连接词的选择

考点三、状语从句与非谓语动词之间的替换；

考点四、根据从句与主句的逻辑关系选用从属连词；2.根据从属连词的词义。

四、分类：状语从句按其作用可分为九类.

（-）时间状语从句

当...时候：Itwassixo'clockwhenIgothome.

Sbwasdoingsthwhen...

1）when这时Sbwasabouttodosth/wasonthepointofdoingsthwhen...

Sbhadjustdonesthwhen...

既然：Itwasfoolishofyoutotakeataxiwhenyoucouldwalkthereinfiveminutes.

既然你能5分钟就走到那儿，再搭出租车真是太傻了。

当・・•时候（引导持续性动作）:Hefellasleepwhilehewasreadingabook.

2）while然而（用于句中）:HelikespopmusicwhileIamfondoffolkmusic.

虽然，尽管（用于句首）Whilevolleyballishermainfocus,she'salsogreatatbasketball.

当•••时候;随着HesmiledpolitelyasMaryapologizedforherdrunkenfriends.

3）as因为Youcan'tcontinuewiththetrainingasyouhaven'trecoveredfromtheinjury.

尽管Hotas/thoughthenightairwas,wesleptdeeplybecauseweweresotired

afterthelongjourney.

正如，正像Theairqualityinthecity,asisshowninthereport,hasimprovedinthelasttwo

肯定句:主句的谓语动词必须是延续性动词。Heworkeduntillateintothenight.

4)till,until

否定句：主句的谓语动词是非延续性动词。

★not...until的倒装句式和强调句式

Hedidn'tconsiderhavingaholidayuntilheretiredfromteachingthreeyearsago.

倒装句式：Notuntilheretiredfromteachingthreeyearsagodidheconsiderhavingaholiday.

强调句式：Itwasnotuntilheretiredfromteachingthreeyearsagothatheconsideredhavingaholiday.

5）before在...之前，….才Wehadsailedfourdaysbeforewesawland.

还没来得及BeforeIcouldgetinaword,hehadmeasuredme.

★Itwas+时间段+be肘resbdidsth…（…才）

★Itwillbe+时间段+beforesbdoessth（…才）

Itwastwoweeksbeforewemetagain.两周之后我们才见面。

Itwillbetwoweeksbeforewemeetagain.我们再过两个周才能见面。

6）since自从...Shehasbeenworkinginthisfactorysincesheleftschool.

既然SinceBabaraisnolongermywife,I'mnolongerresponsibleforherdebts.

既然芭芭拉不再是我的妻子，我也不用再负责她的债务了。

★Itis/hasbeen+段时间+sincesbdidsth...（自从…以来多长时间）

7）关于一…就…的表达方式：assoonas,immediately,directly,instantly,themoment,the

minute,theinstant,nosooner...than...,hardly/scarcely...when,once一.••就,・・

HardlyhadIgothomewhenitbegantorain.我冈一到家就开始下雨。

NosoonerhadIgothomethanitbegantorain.

8）每次...；每当下次...等表达方,式：everytime,eachtime,nexttime,thelasttime,anytime,

allthetime等名词短语用来引导时间状语从句。

EverytimeIwasintrouble,hewouldcometohelpmeout.

9）几个极易混淆的时间状语从句：

1）11\¥@$+时间点+\¥11?比..（当一.的时候时间是3.）

Itwas5amwhenwearrivedatthevillage.

2）Itwas/wiHbe+时间段+before...（没过・・・就/过了…才）

Itwas/willbetwoweeksbeforewemet/meetagain.

3）Itis3asbeen+时间段+since…（自从…以来有…）

Itis/hasbeen3yearssincewelastmet.

★突破点：一看be动词的时态，二看时间段还是时间点。

（二）地点状语从句

引导词：where（…的地方）,wherever（任何...的地方）

WeshouldgowherethePartyneedsusmost.

我们应到党最需要我们的地方去。

Youarefreetogowhereveryoulike.

你愿意去哪里就去哪里。

★注意区分where引导的定语从句与状语从句

You'dbettermakeamarkwhereyouhaveanyquestions.（状语从句）

You'dbettermakeamarkattheplacewhereyouhaveanyquestions.（定语从句）

Where引导的状语从句前面没有名词，即使有，也和从句无关。Where引导的定语从句前面有表

示地点的名词作先行词，并在后面的定语从句中做状语。

（三）原因状语从句

弓I导词：because,as,since,nowthat

项目位置内涵语气能否回答why能否被强调

because（因为）主句前或后直接因果关系强能能

as（由于）主句前或后双方都知道的原因弱//

Since/nowthat主句前双方都知道的原因弱//

（既然）

for（因为）句中补充说明原因或推弱//

断的依据

如：IwasabsentfromthemeetingbecauseIwasill.

（四）条件状语从句

常见的引导词有：if,unless,as/solongas,onconditionthat（条件是），incase（万）

giventhat（如果，倘若）等。如：

①Aslongasyoudon'tloseheart,youwillsucceed.

②Giventhatthisisthecase,whyaren'tstudentstaughttomanageconflicttheway

theyaretaughttosolvemathproblems,drivecars,orstayphysicallyfit?

③Thelittleboywon'tgotosleepunlesshismothertellshimastoiy

★做题小窍门：unless等于if…not,做题时可直接把unless替换为if…not代入句式

（五）目的状语从句

常见的引导词有：sothat,inorderthat,incase（以防），forfearthat（唯恐，害怕发生某事）

等。

★注意：目的状语从句中多用情态动词can,could,may,might.

（六）结果状语从句

常见的引导词有：so…that,such・・・that,sothat等。如：

Mikeissuchanhonestworkerthatweallbelievehim.

=Mikeissohonestaworkerthatweallbelievehim.

★当so/such…that结构中的so或such放在句首时，主句用倒装语序。

Soproudwashethatheneverlistenedtoanyadvice.

（七）让步状语从句

常见的引导词有：though,although,as,evenif/though,nomatter+疑问词（不管，无论）

与疑问词+ever（不管）,whether，・・or・・・（不管•・・还是），while等。如:

1）though&although

Heisunhappy,though/althoughhehasalotofmoney,（though和although意思相同，置

于句首句中皆可，不和but连用）

★though还可用作副词，意为”可是，然而“，置于句末。

Hesaidhewouldcome;hedidn't,though.

2）as或though引导让步状语从句倒装的情况

Hotas/thoughthenightairwas,wesleptdeeplybecauseweweresotiredafterthelong

journey.

Childas/thoughheis,heknowsalotaboutcomputers.

Muchas/thoughItravel,Ihaveneverseensuchabeautifulplace.

3）n。matter+疑问词（不管,无论）与疑I诃词+ever（不管）,whether・・・or

所有人，无论老幼贫富，灾难之后都竭尽全力帮助那些身处困境的人。

★注意区分：whoever,whatever,whomever,whichever还可以引导名词性从句。

Whoeverbreaksthelawwillbepunished.（止匕时whoever=anyonewho）

4）while也可引导让步状语从句，相当于although.

Whilevolleyballishermainfocus,she'salsogreatatbasketball.

（八）比较状语从句

常见的引导词有：as...as,notso（as）...as,than,themore...themore等。

Theharderyouwork,themoreprogressyouwillmake.你越努力，取得的进步就越大。

★注意：（1）在表达倍数时，可用三种句型：

1）A…+（morethan）倍数+比较级+thanB

2）A—I■倍数+as形容词原级as+B

3）A—卜倍数+thesize（height,weight,length）+ofB如：

Thisbuildingismorethanthreetimestallerthanthatone.

Thisbuildingismorethanthreetimesastallasthatone.

Thisbuildingismorethanthreetimesthesizeofthatone.

★三种句型变式：

倍数十asmany+可数名词复数+as

倍数+asmuch+不可数名词+as

倍数+as+形容词原级+名词+as

（九）方式状语从句

常见的引导词有:as,asif,asthough等.

★注意：asif/though引导的从句常用虚拟语气，表示非真实情况，但如果从句中陈述的情况很

可能实现，也可用陈述语气。

Doasyouaretoldto,oryou'llbefired.

告诉你怎么做你就怎么做，否则你会被解雇。

Theoldladytreatstheboyasifhewereherownson.

这位老太太对待这个男孩就像是自己儿子一样。

五、状语从句的省略

当时间、条件、让步、方式和比较状语从句的主适与主句一致或为也鱼返12且谓语动词含应动

词时，从句中的主语和谓语可以一起省去。例如：

Don'tspeakuntilspokento.（省略了youare）

Ihavenomoney.Ifany,Iwilllendyousome.（省略了thereis）

Thoughcold,hestillworeashirt.（省略了itwas）

Someflowersshutupatnightasiftosleep.（省略了theywere）

★一些常见的省略结构：ifnot,ifso,ifany,ifnecessary,whennecessary.
