WhatMakesanEffectivePresentation

Apresentationisapreparedtalkgivenbyaspeakertooneormorelisteners.To

beeffective,thespeaker'smessagemustpasstothelisteners—itmustbeheardand

correctlyunderstood.Ingeneral,two-waycommunicationismoreeffectivethan

one-waycommunication;so,encouragetheaudiencetoparticipate—byasking

questionsormakingcomments.Inanycase,rememberthatthetalkisgivenfortheir

benefits—notforthespeaker's.
