判断:
HisfatherwhoisinBeijingwillreturntoYanchengnextweek.
Hisfather,whoisinBeijing,willreturntoYanchengnextweek.×Conclusion:
(一)限制性定语从句与先行词之间不用逗号隔开;而非限制性定语从句与先行词之间一般用逗号隔开。Mycousinwhosefatherisateacherwantstobeanactor.Mycousin,whosefatherisateacher,wantstobeanactor.(二)限制性定语从句和先行词关系密切,如果去掉从句,剩余部分意义不完整;而非限制性定语从句只是先行词的附加说明,如果去掉从句,意义仍然完整。Thisisthemanwhogavemethemoney.这就是给我钱的那个人。上句如删去从句whogavemethemoney,则成了Thisistheman.(这是那个人。)完全失去了整个句子的意思,因而不能删掉。WangDong,whoisintheroom,wantstoaskyousomequestions.王东,他在房间里,想问你几个问题上述主句是WangDongwantstoaskyousomequestions,如果删去从句(whoisintheroom),并不影响整个句子基本意思的表达。
关系代词:which/who/whom/whose/as关系副词:when/where(非限制性定语从句中不用关系代词that,why;非限制性定语从句中关系词不能省略)(三)非限制性定语从句中通常使用下列关系代词和副词(四)在意思上,有时限定性和非限定性定语从句的区别也是较大的。如:Intheirclass,therearefifteenstudentswhocanspeakEnglishwell.在他们班上有十五位英语说得好的学生。(可以看出他们班学生要多于十五位)Intheirclass,therearefifteenstudents,whocanspeakEnglishwell.他们班上有十五位学生,他们英语说得很好。(可以看出他们班上共有十五名学生,他们英语口语都好。)(限定性定语从句)(非限定性定语从句)限制性定语从句与非限制性定语从句:限制性定语从句非限制性定语从句和先行词关系密切(删去影响整个意思表达)和先行词关系不密切(一种补充说明,删去不影响全句意思的表达)不用逗号隔开一般用逗号隔开可用关系代词that,why不可用关系代词that,why关系代词可省略(但在从句中作宾语)关系代词不可以省略只可修饰先行词,不可以修饰主句或主句的一部分除修饰先行词还可以修饰整个主句或主句的一部分

as和which引导非限制性定语从句,指代整个主句。1.Aseveryoneknows,

众所周知,中国是一个历史悠久的国家。2.Heinvitedmetodinner,whichmademeveryhappy.
他请我吃饭,这使我很高兴。3.She’sateacher,asisclearfromhermanner.
她是个教师,这一点从她的举止可以清楚地看出。
as和which
在引导非限制性定语从句时,as和which可代替整个主句,相当于andthis或andthat。这两个关系代词都可指代主句所表达的整个意思,且在定语从句中都可以作主语或宾语。非限制性定语从句考点:
as和which引导非限制性定语从句的不同之处在于:as引导的定语从句位置灵活,
而which引导的定语从句只能放于逗号后面。
Johnisafamouswriter,aseverybodyknows.
Aseverybodyknows,Johnisafamouswriter.John,aseverybodyknows,isafamouswriter.Hemissedtheshow,whichmadehimfeelsad.

as引导非限制性从句,常带有“正如”的意思,有时不必译出。asweallknow大家都知道,众所周知asIcanremember正如我所记得地asweallcansee正如我们都能看到的那样asoftenhappens这经常发生asweexpect正如我们预料的那样asiswellknown众所周知asisexpected正如预料的那样ascanbeseen看得出来ashasbeensaidbefore如前所述Theearthisround.___isknowntoall.Theearthisround,________isknowntoall._____isknowntoall,theearthisround.___isknowntoall_____theearthisround._____isknowntoallis____theearthisround.Itwhich/asAsIt定语从句在句首时只能用asit为形式主语,that引导主语从句thatWhatthatwhat引导主语从句,that引导表语从句考点Ⅱ:非限制性定语从句和单句的比较2.Hefailedintheexam.
