4.倒装句中的语法一致。(1)Twopicturesonthewall,whichattractmanypeople.

5.由分数或百分数+名词作主语时,谓语动词的形式与of后面的名词的数一致,即分数或百分数+of+不可数名词或单数名词,谓语动词用单数形式,分数或百分数+of+复数名词,谓语动词用复数形式。(1)Tenpercentofthepupilsabsenttoday.

(2)Three-fourthsofthesurfaceoftheearthsea.

二、意义一致原则1.由集体名词,如group,family,class,government,team,public,enemy,crowd,audience,club,party,crew等作主语时,如果看成一个整体,谓语动词用单数形式,如果看成其中各成员,谓语动词则用复数形式。(1)Hisfamilyverylarge.

(2)Hisfamilymusiclovers.

(3)Thegroupmadeupofninestudents.

(4)Thegroupdancinghappily.

(5)Theteamsomegoodplayers.

(6)Theteamhandsome.

2.代词作主语。(1)Neitherdog(is,are)big.

(2)Neitherofthem(is,are)big.

(3)Neitherrabbit(is,are)handsome.

3.表示时间、距离、金钱等复数名词作主语,表达一个整体概念时,谓语动词则用单数形式。(1)TwoyearspassedsinceIleftNingbo.

(2)Onemilliondollarsagreatsumofmoney.

4.以-s结尾的名词本身不表示复数意义,谓语通常用单数形式,如news,maths,physics,theUnitedStates等作主语,谓语动词用单数形式。(1)Everymeansbeentriedsincethen.

5.the+adj.作主语。the+adj.,表示一类人,谓语动词用复数形式,如theold,theyoung,therich,thepoor。the+adj.,表示某个人或一类抽象的事物,谓语动词用单数形式,如thebeautiful,thegood。(1)Theoldtakengoodcareofinoursociety.

(2)Therichforthedecisionbutthepoorareagainstit.

(3)Thewoundedayoungboy.

(4)Thebeautifulnotalwaysthesameasthegood.

三、就近一致原则(1)NotonlyhebutalsoI(be)invited.

(2)Neithermyglovesnormyhat(go)withthedress.

由or,either...or,neither...nor,notonly...butalso等连接的并列主语,谓语动词常和靠近它的主语在单复数上保持一致。注意:主语+with/alongwith/togetherwith/including/but/except/like/among/aswellas/nomorethan/besides/ratherthan+名词,谓语和主语在单复数上保持一致。(3)Theteacherwithanumberofstudents(be)intheclassroom.
