定语从句

1.定义：定语从句（也称关系从句、形容词性从句），是指一类由关系词引导的从句,因为这类从句的句法功能多是做定语，所以曾被称为定语从句（attributiveclause），这类从句除了可以做定语之外，还可以充当状语等其他成分，所以现代语言学多使用“关系从句”这一术语。

2.在句中的作用、位置：定语从句(AttributiveClauses)在

句中起形容词的作用，通常皆放在它所修饰的名、代词。3.先行词：被定语从句所修饰限制的名词或代词叫先行词。4.关系词：引导定语从句的关系代词和关系副词。5.类别：根据定语从句与先行词的关系定语从句可分为限制性定语从句及非限制性定语从句。限制性定语从句一般紧跟先行词后，主句与从句不用逗号分开，从句不可省去。非限制性定语从句与主句之间有逗号分开，起补充说明作用如省去意思仍然完整。

本节课我们主要探讨有关限制性定语从句的一些内容。根据近年来各地的中考英语试题考查趋势，定语从句的主要考点集中在:

一、考查指物的关系代词的用法。

二、考查指人的关系代词的用法。

三、考查部分关系副词的用法。（较少）下面我们就从这三个方面来探讨：

As作关系代词引导的限制性定语从句中,只用于和thesame,such及as连用的结构中,在句中充当主、宾、表语.
