“findit+adj.+todosth.”意为“发现做某事是……的”。find后接复合宾语,其中it在此处作形式宾语,真正的宾语是后面的动词不定式todosth.,形容词在句中作宾语补足语。

getusedto相当于beusedto,意为“习惯于……”,其中to为介词,其后可接名词、代词或动词-ing形式。

e.g.:Shegets/isusedtogettingupearly.

【辨析】get/beusedto(doing)sth.,usedtodosth.与beusedtodosth.

(1)get/beusedto(doing)sth.意为“习惯于(做)某事”。to为介词,其后可接名词、代词或动词-ing形式,可用于现在、过去、将来等多种时态。

e.g.:Hegets/isusedtogoingtobedlate.(2)usedtodosth.意为“过去常常做某事”。to为动词不定式符号,只用于过去时态。e.g.:Heusedtoreadabookbeforehewenttobed,butnowheisusedtolisteningtomusic.(3)beusedtodosth.意为“被用于做某事”。是被动语态,动词不定式表示目的,可用于多种时态。

e.g.:Woodisusedtobuildhouses.7.LetmegiveyousomesuggestionsandadviceaboutChinesecustoms.让我给你一些关于中国风俗的建议和意见。(教材第80页)(1)letsb.dosth.意为“让某人做某事”。

e.g.:TheteachergavemesomesuggestionsandadviceabouthowtolearnEnglishwell.(3)suggestion此处用作可数名词,意为“建议”。其动词形式是suggest,意为“建议”。

1.if引导的宾语从句Idon'tknowifhewillcometomorrow.=Idon’tknowwhetherhewillcometomorrow.宾语从句中,当从句的成分完整、意思缺少“是否”之意时,连词可用if;可以和whether互换。

注意:1.if引导的从句不能直接与ornot连用。2.当宾语从句提到句首时,不能用if,只能用whether引导。3.if不能引导带to的不定式,也不能放于介词后作宾语。由连词if引导的宾语从句和条件状语从句

2.if引导的状语从句Ifhecomestomorrow,wewillplaybasketball.=Wewillplaybasketballifhecomestomorrow.

if意为“如果”,引导条件状语从句时,既可放在主句前面,也可放在主句后面。若if条件句放在句首,从句后面常加逗号与主句隔开。时态运用:Ifhecomes,hewillbringhisviolin.如果他来,他就会把他的小提琴带来。(1)主句是一般将来时,从句用一般现在时,即遵循“主将从现”的原则。Ifyouwanttoloseweight,youmusteatlessbread.如果你想减肥,你必须少吃面包。(2)主句是含有情态动may/might/can/must/shoul
