课标分析1.高中英语教学应该特别关注学生使用英语的“得体性”。所谓得体地使用语言,就是根据交际的场合和交际对象的身份等具体情况,选择和使用适当的语言,比如根据交际场合选择正式或非正式语言,根据交际对象的身份,选择较为直接或委婉的语言。英汉两种语言在得体性方面存在差异。在汉语中比较得体的表达法如果直接套用到英语中,可能有些不得体。反之亦然。2.高中英语教学无论是在选择语言素材方面,还是在设计课堂教学活动方面,都要信息的获取与处理。也就是说,所有的学习材料和学习活动,要使学生能够从中获得一些他们尚不具有的信息,而且还要使学生获得信息之后以某种方式进行处理和传递。如果两个学生做对话练习时,已经知道彼此要说的话,那么这个活动就不涉及获得信息和处理信息的过程,也就没有实际的交际意义(表演短剧等活动除外)。如果给学生一篇短文,让他们改写短文并把其中的主动语态变为被动语态,那么这个活动也没有获得信息、处理信息的过程。我们并不是说,不涉及到获得信息、处理信息的教学活动都是无意义的活动。但是,高中阶段应尽可能给学生提供用英语获取信息、处理信息的语言实践机会。3.高中英语教学应特别注重培养学生分析问题和解决问题的能力,并通过分析问题、解决问题来发展批评性思维能力。语言与思维关系密切。可以说语言是思维的工具。尽管不同的语言存在某些共性,但也存在很多差异。学习不同的语言可以为我们提供不同的思维方式。有些概念或思想在汉语里很难找到适当的语言来表达,而在英语里可能有现成的表达法。反之亦然。其实,这就是语言既是思维的工具又约束思维的一个例子。高中生学习英语的目的之一就是开拓思维方式,提高思维能力。因此,高中英语教学活动要有利于学生对自己或他人的生活经验、思想观点、自然或社会现象等进行分析和判断,要有利于学生在学习过程中发现问题、分析问题、解决问题。4.高中阶段在听、说、读、写四项语言技能中,不能简单地说“继续培养听说能力、侧重培养读写能力”。首先,尽管有些微技能可以单独训练,听、说、读、写这四种技能并不是孤立的。在多数情况下,两种或多种技能综合运用才能实现真正的交际。其次,不同的学习活动对四种技能的要求不同。有些活动(如协商、讨论)对听说技能的要求高一些,有些活动(如查找信息、报告结果)对读写技能的要求高一些。第三,应该允许学生根据自己的学习兴趣和潜能,优先或侧重发展某些技能。不能过分追求各种技能的平衡发展。七、关于高中英语课程的教学方式为了体现《基础教育课程改革纲要》(以下简称《纲要》)关于改变教学方式与方法的课改要求,《标准》特别强调,高中英语课程应有利于学生优化学习方式,提高自主学习能力。《标准》指出,“高中英语课程的设计与实施要有利于学生优化英语学习方式,使他们通过观察、体验、探究等积极主动的学习方法,充分发挥自己的学习潜能,形成有效的学习策略,提高自主学习的能力;要有利于学生学会运用多种媒体和信息资源,拓宽学习渠道,形成具有个性的学习方法和风格”。在课程实施过程中,“高中英语教学要鼓励学生通过积极尝试、自我探究、自我发现和主动实践等学习方式,形成具有高中生特点的英语学习的过程与方法”。改变教师的教学方式的一个重要举措是,从以教师为中心的教学方式向以学生为中心的教学方式转变;从传授知识的教学方式向探究知识、发展能力的教学方式转变。因此,根据高中英语学科的特点,教师要鼓励学生通过体验、实践、讨论、合作和探究等方式,发展听、说、读、写的综合语言技能,要创造条件让学生能够探究他们自己感兴趣的问题并自主解决问题,要特别强调让学生在人际交往中得体地使用英语。具体地讲,高中英语新课程的教学方式与方法应该具有以下特点:1.多数课堂活动以学生为主体,而不是以教师为主体;2.多数时间里,不是教师讲解、学生倾听的过程,而是教师与学生之间、学生与学生之间的互动过程;3.教师不是直截了当地把知识告诉学生,而是引导学生自己去发现知识;4.学生不是机械地记忆知识,而是运用所学英语语言知识去做一些具体的事情;5.学生不是整齐划一地按教师的要求做同样的事情,而是根据自己的学习需要、按自己的学习方式实现学习目标。本节课目标:Knowledgeandskills1.Mastersomenewwordsfromcontextandbackground.
