在英语中，介词宾语常用动名词，不用不定式。而动词宾语，有时用动名词，有时用不定式，有时用动名词和不定式意义变化不大，有时意义却相差甚远。一、下列动词只能接不定式作（直接）宾语：hope,wish,want,ask,help,refuse,learn,demand,care,choose,arrange,expect,decide,agree,plan,promise,offer,mange,pretend,prepare,elect,fail,long,detrmine，desire等。Theyallagreedtostartoffearlyinordertocatchthefirstbus.Inspiteofthedifficulties,wemanagedtofinishtheworkaheadoftime.I'mlonging(desiring)toseeyou.二、下列动词只能按动词名词作（直接）宾语：appreciate,delay,admit,suggest,keep,prevent,miss,risk,escape,imagine,enjoy,consider,avoid,finish,mind,fancy,practise,advise,pardon,excuse,giveup,keepon,putoff,can'thelp,leaveoff,feellike,can'tstand等。Ican'tfancy(imagine)hisdoingsuchathing.注意：下列短语后也只能接动名词作（直接）宾语：

三、下列动词的直接宾语既可用不定式，又可用动名词，意义上仅有具体与抽象之分，但许多情况下可互换：like,love,hate,dislike,begin,start,continue,attempt,afford,prefer,propose,intend,can'tbear。

记得（过去）曾做过2.forgettodo忘记要做（未做）；forgetdoing

忘记了（过去）曾经做过（已做）3.regrettodo对将要做的事表示后悔；regretdoing对已做过的事表示后悔

4.trytodo想法／设法／努力做；trydoing试一试／试着做5.meantodo打算／想要做……；meandoing意思是……，意味着……

6.stoptodo停止（某事）去干另一件事；
