Frontier/Immigrationinspection,referstotheinspectionofpassport,certificate,visa,entry-exitregistrationcard,luggagecarriedbyentry-exitpersonnelandshopping.Inspectionandsupervisionofmeansoftransportandthegoodscarriedbythem,aswellasthemanagementofpersonnelonandoffthemeansoftransportenteringandleavingthecountry,andthehandlingofviolationsofrulesandregulations.

边防检查简称为边检，指对出入国境人员的护照、证件、签证、出入境登记卡、出入境人员携带的行李物品和购物的检查;交通工具及其运载的货物等的检查和监护，以及对出入国境上下交通运输工具的人员的管理和违反规章行为的处理等。Frontierinspectionshallbecarriedoutonoutboundandinboundpersonnelandtheirluggage,meansoftransportandthegoodscarriedbythem;对出境、入境的人员及其行李物品、交通运输工具及其运载的货物实施边防检查；Tosupervisethemeansoftransportleavingandenteringthecountryinaccordancewiththerelevantprovisionsofthestate;

按照国家有关规定对出境、入境的交通运输工具进行监护；Guardtherestrictedareaoftheporttomaintaintheorderofexitandentry;对口岸的限定区域进行警戒，维护出境、入境秩序；Toperformthetasksassignedbythecompetentauthoritiesandotherlawsandadministrativeregulations.
