Abstract:
ThispaperaimstoexplorethedevelopmentoftheideologyofeducationtechnologyintheUnitedStatesanditsimpact.Sincetheearly20thcentury,educationtechnologyintheUnitedStateshasbeguntoriseandrapidlydevelop,promotingthefusionofeducation,science,andtechnology,andformingaseriesoftheoriesandpractices.ThispaperreviewstheresearchandpracticalachievementsofeducationtechnologyintheUnitedStates,analyzesthetrendsandimpactdemonstrated.Firstly,thispaperintroducestheoriginandcontextofeducationtechnologyintheUnitedStates.Secondly,itexplorestheideologicaltrendsofeducationtechnologyfromtheearly20thcenturytothemid-20thcentury,includingfunctionalism,behaviorism,constructivism,andtheirtheoriesandpractices.Subsequently,itdiscussestheneweducationtechnologyinthelatterhalfofthe20thcentury,suchasInternettechnology,multimediateaching,virtualreality,artificialintelligence,andanalyzesthechallengesandopportunitiesthatthesenewtechnologieshavebrought.Finally,itbrieflydescribedthetrendandprospectofthefuturedevelopmentofeducationtechnologyintheUnitedStates.
