学校的就业服务办公室。听起来似乎是理所当然的事情，但意外的是，许多学生却忽略了这个资源。波士顿大学管理学院（BostonUniversity'sSchoolofManagement）本科生职业顾问黛博拉·费德里科说：“这里应该是你最先寻求帮助的地方。搞清楚他们有没有在线或打印形式的实习数据库。不仅是因为从这里求职的学生比实习工作求职网站相对要少得多，同时还因为在这里发布招聘的公司确实是打算在你的学校寻找合适的实习生。”

在线实习数据库。费德里科最喜欢的网站是SimplyHired，因为这家网站支持实习生们按照地理位置进行搜索。她说：“实习生们可以进行多重搜索，还可以订阅每日邮件提醒，包括与搜索标准匹配的实习机会。或者，求职者可以按公司名称，有针对性地搜索自己最中意的公司提供的实习机会。”

分类广告网站Craigslist。费德里科说：“没错，就是Craigslist。虽然这个网站上的许多海报都不够完善，但学生们经常能从上面找到不错的实习机会，尤其是规模较小的公司提供的实习机会。”

充分利用亲戚朋友构成的关系网。费德里科说：“通过邻居、亲戚，甚至好友的父母，我的许多学生都找到了很好的实习机会。”首先从与他们交流开始，然后再向外拓展，联系你就读大学的校友。

目标公司。如果你特别期望能在一家公司工作，可以查看一下它的招聘页面，其中可能会列出实习机会。费德里科建议：“如果目前尚没有什么机会，可以发一份简历和一封求职信，表达自己对未来潜在机会的兴趣。之后，要保持与人力资源部的联系。甚至可以考虑自己设计实习机会。雇主肯定会喜欢你的积极性，而且如果在暑假期间能多一个帮手，大部分公司都会表示欢迎。”

如果你尝试过上述所有途径，却依然未能成功，或者你不想（像多数实习岗位一样）将整个暑假都花在没有报酬的临时工作上，又该怎么办？事实上，就算如此，也并非无路可走。美国大学与雇主协会（NationalAssociationofCollegesandEmployers）招聘信息经理安德里亚·孔茨说：“80%的雇主在审核应届毕业生的简历时，会寻找能证明领导能力的履历。此外，75%的招聘经理们则会注重求职者解决问题的能力。”

所以，如果没有实习的机会，就要千方百计积累以上其中一个方面或者两方面的经验。贾森·莱文说：“暑假能当上救生员当然很好。但是，如果能管理一个救生员小分队就更好了。关键在于，这样可以证明，在课堂之外，你也可以承担起其他方面的责任。”
