冲击接触加载下人体天然牙的磨损行为研究Title:StudyontheWearBehaviorofHumanNaturalTeethunderImpactContactLoading

Abstract:Theaimofthisstudyistoinvestigatethewearbehaviorofhumannaturalteethunderimpactcontactloading.Inthisresearch,acustomtestingapparatuswasdesignedandfabricatedtosimulatetheimpactcontactloadingconditions.Threegroupsofhumannaturalteethspecimenswereselectedandtestedunderdifferentimpactenergies.Thewearvolumeandwearrateofspecimensweremeasuredandanalyzed.Themorphologyofwornsurfaceswasalsoanalyzedusingascanningelectronmicroscope(SEM).

Theresultsindicatedthatthewearvolumeandwearrateofspecimensincreasedwithincreasingimpactenergy.Themorphologyofwornsurfacesshowedthatthewearmechanismwasmainlyadhesivewearandabrasivewear.Theadhesivewearwasmainlycausedbytheinterfacialbondingbetweentheenamelandthemetalsphere.Theabrasivewearwasmainlycausedbythecuttingandplowingofthemetalsphereontheenamelsurface.Inaddition,thewearbehaviorofdifferentteethshoweddifferentcharacteristicsduetotheirdifferentstructuresandcompositions.

Inconclusion,thewearbehaviorofhumannaturalteethunderimpactcontactloadingiscomplexanddependsonvariousfactors.Thefindingsofthisstudycanprovideusefulinformationforunderstandingthewearbehaviorofhumannaturalteethanddesigningofdentalmaterialsanddevicestoimprovetheirwearresistanceanddurability.

Keywords:HumanNaturalTeeth,WearBehavior,ImpactContactLoading,AdhesiveWear,AbrasiveWear.Furtheranalysisoftheresultsshowedthatthewearrateoftheincisorswashigherthanthatofthepremolarsandmolars.Thiscouldbeattributedtothefactthattheincisorshaveathinnerenamellayerwhereasthepremolarsandmolarshaveathickerandmorecomplextoothstructure.Moreover,thewearmechanismoftheincisorswasmainlyadhesivewear,whereasthatofthepremolarsandmolarswasmainlyabrasivewear.Thisdifferenceinwearmechanismcouldbeduetothedifferencesinthesurfacemorphologyandcompositionoftheenamel.

Anotherinterestingobservationwasthatthewearvolumeandwearrateoftheteethspecimensincreasedwiththenumberofloadingcycles.Thissuggeststhatthewearresistanceanddurabilityofhumannaturalteethmaydecreaseovertimeduetorepetitiveimpactsandloadingcycles.Thisfindinghasimportantimplicationsforthedesignanddevelopmentofdentalmaterialsanddevices,especiallythoseintendedforlong-termuse.

Inordertomitigateweardamageandprolongthelifespanofdentalrestorationsandprostheses,itisimportanttoimprovetheirwearresistanceanddurabilitybyselectingmaterialswithbetterwearpropertiesandoptimizingthedesignandmanufacturingprocesses.Moreover,itisimportanttoadoptpreventivemeasuressuchasregularcleaningandmaintenanceofdentalrestorationsandappliancestominimizetheriskofwearandassociatedcomplications.

Overall,thisstudyprovidesvaluableinsightsintothewearbehaviorofhumannaturalteethunderimpactcontactloading,whichcanfacilitatethedevelopmentofmoreeffectivepreventiveandtherapeuticstrategiesfordentalwearanddamage.Anotherimportantimplicationofthisstudyisthepotentialimpactofenvironmentalfactorsondentalwear.Forexample,peoplewhoconsumehardorabrasivefoodsonaregularbasismayexperiencefasterwearoftheirteeth,especiallyiftheyhavepre-existingdentalconditionssuchasenameldefectsorerosion.Similarly,individualswhohaveahabitofteethgrindingorclenching(bruxism)mayexperienceacceleratedwearordamagetotheirteeth.

Inaddition,thefindingsofthisstudycouldinformthedevelopmentofnewdentaltreatmentsandinterventionsaimedataddressingdentalwearanddamage.Forexample,toothwearcausedbyaciderosioncouldbetreatedwithdentalbondingorcompositerestorations,whichcanrestorethefunctionandappearanceoftheteethwhilealsoprotectingthemfromfurtherwear.Similarly,dentalappliancessuchasocclusalsplintsormouthguardsmayberecommendedforpatientswithbruxismtoreducetheimpactofgrindingorclenchingontheirteeth.

Overall,thestudyhighlightstheimportanceofunderstandingthewearbehaviorofhumannaturalteethanditsunderlyingmechanisms.Bydoingso,wecandevelopmoreeffectivestrategiesforpreventingandtreatingdentalwearanddamage,ultimatelyleadingtoimprovedoralhealthandqualityoflifeforpatients.Anotherimportantconsiderationindentalwearresearchisthepotentialroleofgenetics.Whileenvironmentalfactorsplayasignificantroleindentalwear,therealsoseemstobeageneticcomponenttotoothmorphologyandwearbehavior.Thiscouldexplainwhysomeindividualsaremorepronetotoothwearanddamagethanothers,despitesimilardietaryandlifestylefactors.

Inrecentyears,advancesindentaltechnologyhaveallowedresearcherstostudydentalwearinmoredetail,includingtheuseofadvancedimagingtechniquessuchasmicro-CTscanning.Theseapproacheshaveenabledresearcherstobetterunderstandthecomplexinteractionsbetweentoothstructure,function,andwear,providingvaluableinsightsintohowwecanbetterprotectourteethandpreventdentaldamage.

Inaddition,researchhasalsoexploredthepotentialimpactofmoderndentaltreatmentssuchasorthodontics,whichcanalterthenaturalocclusalpatternsoftheteethandpotentiallycauseunintendedwearordamage.Byunderstandinghoworthodontictreatmentsaffectdentalwearandfunction,clinicianscanbettertailortheirtreatmentplanstominimizetheriskoflong-termdamage.

Overall,thereisagrowingrecognitionoftheimportanceofdentalwearresearchanditspotentialimplicationsforimprovingoralhealthoutcomes.Bycontinuingtostudydentalwearanditsunderlyingmechanisms,wecandevelopmoreeffectivestrategiesforpreventionandtreatment,leadingtoimproveddentalhealthandqualityoflifeforpatients.Anotherimportantareaofdentalwearresearchistheimpactofvariousdietaryfactorsontoothwear.Researchhasdemonstratedthatdietshighinacid,sugar,andotherprocessedfoodscansignificantlyincreasetheriskofdentalwearanddamage.Similarly,dietslowinessentialnutrientssuchascalciumandvitaminDcanalsoweakentheteethandmakethemmoresusceptibletowearandfracture.

Toaddresstheseconcerns,dentalprofessionalsareincreasinglyfocusingontheimportanceofproperdietandnutritioninmaintaininghealthyteethandpreventingdentalwear.Thiscaninvolveworkingwithpatientstodeveloppersonalizednutritionplansthatemphasizewholefoods,nutrient-densefruitsandvegetables,andothersourcesofessentialvitaminsandminerals.
