ZhejiangUniversityofFinanceandEconomics(ZUFE)recentlyoffereditsstudentsthechancetotakeanoptionalcourse,designedtoguidestudentsthroughdifficultdecisionsusingeconomicmethods.

近日，浙江财经大学为该校学生提供了一门旨在指导学生使用经济方法做出困难的决策的选修课。

Thecoursewascappedat40students,butmorethan200studentsappliedtotakeit.

该课程上限40人，但是有超过200名学生申请了修读。

Universitystudentsareconstantlyfacedwithchoices,bothlargeandsmall.Fromchoosingbetweenthecafeteriaandtakeoutforlunch,todecidingwhethertostayinChinaorgoabroadforapost-graduatedegree,thedilemmasareseeminglyendless.

大学生经常会面临各种或大或小的选择。从选择自助餐厅还是午餐外卖，到决定待在国内读研还是出国读研，纠结看起来是无穷无尽的。

NiNi,theteacherofthecourse,toldQianjiangEveningPostthateconomicscouldofferagreatsolutionforthosemomentsofindecision,aseconomictoolscanestimatetheactualcostandbenefitbehindagivendecisionsoutcome.

这门课程的授课老师倪妮向《钱江晚报》透露，经济学能够为这些踌躇不决的时刻给出一个不错答案，由于经济学工具能够评估一个既定决定结果的实际支出和收益。

倪妮解释道：我相信经济知识能够在做出决定时提高效率。因此，我与一些大四学生共同设计了这门课程。

学生们可以在课堂上介绍他们自己的艰难决定，而倪妮将会运用经济理论帮助他们实现最正确解决方式。

这名有远见的教授还希望这一过程可以帮助学生们在其它情境中运用经济思维。

Inadditiontothedecision-makingcourse,ZUFEisalsoofferingotherclassestohelpsolvestudentsday-to-dayproblems.

除了决策课程，浙江财经大学还提供其它课程帮助解决学生的日常问题。

Forinstance,acourseaboutsportsandweightlosscanguidestudentstobecomehealthierandchangetheirbodiesthroughasafe,wholesomeapproach.

例如，一个关于体育和减肥的课程能够指导学生变得更加健康，并通过一种安全、有益健康的方式改变他们的身体。

Anothercourserelatedtoromanceandlawoffersstudentsinsightintodifferentkindsofromanticrelations,therebylinkingloveandlawthroughinterviews,videoclipsandreports.

另外一个与爱情和法律有关的课程，可以帮助学生对待不同种类的爱情关系，从而通过访谈、视频和报告将爱情与法律联系起来。

今年计划进入清华大学的学生最好会游泳，否则就得准备学游泳、通过游泳考试了。

LiuBo,headoftheuniversityssportsscienceandphysicaleducationdivision,saidlastMondaythataproposalbyuniversitypresidentQiuYongurgingallundergraduatestudentstolearnhowtoswimwillbeimplementedatthestartoftheacademicyear.

清华大学体育部主任刘波上周一表示，自本学年开始，将实施该校校长邱勇提出的号召所有在校学生学习游泳的计划。

TheuniversitywillorganizeaswimmingtestforallfreshmeninSeptember,andthosewhofailtoswimatleast50metersusinganystrokewillberequiredtotakeamandatorycoursethroughouttheirstudiessothattheyareabletoswimbythetimetheygraduate,otherwisetheuniversitywontgrantthemadiploma,Liusaid.

刘波称，该校将于9月组织针对所有新生的游泳测试，用任何泳姿都游不了50米的学生将被要求参与游泳必修课，在校期间修完，使他们到毕业时会游泳，否则该校不会授予他们毕业证书。

Exceptionswillbeallowedforstudentswithspecialphysicalormentalconditions,ifprovedbymedicalstaff.

患有特别身体或心理疾病的学生，在得到医务人员证明的状况下可免修游泳课。

AlthoughTsinghuahasalongtraditionofemphasizingsportsparticipation,fewerstudentsareexercisingregularly,Liusaid.Itstimetotakecompulsoryactiontourgestudentstoexercisemoretostrengthenthesportscultureoncampus.

刘波表示：虽然一直以来清华都有强调体育运动的传统，但经常锻炼的学生变少了。是时候采取强制措施敦促学生多做运动，从而加强校园体育文化。

至于为什么清华要将游泳能力和学位联系在一起，刘波说道：作为一项必要的生存技能，长期游泳对学生有益，由于游泳有助于提高学生的耐力。而作为一种水上运动，游泳对人体关节和肌肉的损伤更小一些。
