mended.AsfaraspossiblemaketheelectricpotentialofyourworkclothesandthatoftheworkbenchthegroundpotentialTheLCDmoduleiscoatedwithafilmtoprotectthedisysurface.Exercisecarewhenpeelingoffthisprotectivefilmsincestaticelectricitymaybegenerated(13)SinceLCMhasbeenassembledandadjustedwithahighdegreeofprecision,avoidapplyingexcessiveshockstothemoduleormakinganyal Pleasedon’toperatewithsharpsticksuchasStorageWhenstoringtheLCDmodules,thefollowingprecautionisStoretheminasealedpolyethylenebag.Ifproperlysealed,thereisnoneedfortheStoretheminadarkce.Donotexposetosunlightorfluorescentlight,keepthetemperaturebetween0Cand35C,andkeeptherelativehumiditybetween40%RHand60%RH.Thepolarizersurfaceshouldnotcomeincontactwithanyotherobjects.(Weadviseyoutostorethemintheanti-staticelectricitycontainerinwhichtheywereshipped.Liquidcrystalssolidifyunderlowtemperature(belowthestoragetemperaturerange)leadingtodefectiveorientationorthegenerationofairbubbles(blackorwhite).AirbubblesmayalsobegeneratedifthemoduleissubjecttoalowIftheLCDmoduleshavebeenoperatingforalongtimeshowingthesamedisypatterns,thedisypatternsmayremainonthescreenasghostimagesandaslightcontrastirregularitymayalsoappear.Anormaloperatingstatuscanberegainedbysuspendinguseforsometime.ItshouldbenotedthatthisphenomenondoesnotadverselyaffectperformanceTominimizetheperformancedegradationoftheLCDmodulesresultingfromdestructioncausedbystaticelectricityetc.,exercisecaretoavoidholdingthefollowingsectionswhenhandlingthemodules.-Exposedareaoftheprintedcircuit-TerminalelectrodeUSINGLCDInstallingLCDTheholeintheprintedcircuitboardisusedtofixLCMasshowninthepicturebelow.AttendtothefollowingitemswheninstallingtheLCM.CoverthesurfacewithatransparentprotectivetetoprotectthepolarizerandLCWhenassemblingtheLCMintootherequipment,thespacertothebitbetweentheLCMandthefittingteshouldhaveenoughheighttoavoidcausingstresstothemodulesurface,refertotheindividualspecificationsformeasurements.Themeasurementtoleranceshouldbe0.1mm.PrecautionforassemblethemodulewithBTBPleasenotethepositionofthemaleandfemaleconnectorposition,don’tassembleorassemblelikethemethodwhichthefollowingpictureshowsPrecautionforsolderingtheManualMachinedragMachinepressNoRoHS290C~350C.Time:3-5S.330CSpeed:4-8300CTime:3-6S.Press:0.8~1.2Mpa340C~370C.Time:3-5S.350CTime:4-8330C~360C.Time:3-6S.Press:0.8~1.2MpaIfsolderingfluxisused,besuretoremoveanyremainingfluxafterfinishingtosolderingoperation.(Thisdoesnotapplyinthecaseofanon-halogentypeofflux.)Itis mendedthatyouprotecttheLCDsurfacewithacoverduringsolderingtopreventanydamageduetofluxspatters.WhensolderingtheelectroluminescentpanelandPCboard,thepanelandboardshouldnotbedetachedmorethanthreetimes.This umnumberisdeterminedbythetemperatureandtimeconditionsmentionedabove,thoughtheremaybesomevariancedependingonthetemperatureofthesolderingiron.WhenremovetheelectroluminescentpanelfromthePCboard,besurethesolderhascompleymelted,thesolderedpadonthePCboardcouldbedamaged.PrecautionsforViewinganglevarieswiththechangeofliquidcrystaldrivingvoltage(VLCD).AdjustVLCDtoshowthebestItisanindispensableconditiontodriveLCD'swithinthespecifiedvoltagelimitsincethehighervoltagethenthelimitcausetheshorterLCDlife.AnelectrochemicalreactionduetodirectcurrentcausesLCD'sundesirabledeterioration,sothattheuseofdirectcurrentdriveshouldbeavoided.ResponsetimewillbeextremelydelayedatlowertemperaturethantheoperatingtemperaturerangeandontheotherhandathighertemperatureLCD'sshowdarkcolorinthem.HoweverthosephenomenadonotmeanmalfunctionoroutoforderwithLCD's,Whichwillcomebackinthespecifiedoperatingtemperature.Ifthedisyareaispushedhardduringoperation,thedisywill eabnormal.However,itwillreturntonormalifitisturnedoffandthenbackon.Aslightdewdepositingonterminalsisacauseforelectro-chemicalreactionresultinginterminalopencircuit.Usageundertheumoperatingtemperature,50%RHorlessisrequired.InputlogicvoltagebeforeapplyoghighvoltagesuchasLCDdrivingvoltagewhenpoweron.Removeoghighvoltagebeforelogicvoltagewhenpoweroffthemodule.Inputeachsignalafterthepositive/negativevoltageesPleasekeepthetemperaturewithinspecified
