Perhapstheinconsistencyisunderstandable.Afterhundredsofyearsofthinkingaboutit,peoplecannotagreeonasystemofrightsforeachother,sothegroundisboundtogetshakierstillwhenanimalsareincluded.Thetroubleisthatconfusionandcontradictionopenthewaytotheextremist.Andbecausescientificresearchisremotefrommostpeople'slives,itisparticularlyvulnerabletotheircampaigns.
