Filmtourismhasemergedasamajorgrowthsectorforresearchintourismanditiswidelyrecognisedasadriveroftourismdevelopmentformanydestinations.

Underthisbackground,it’sveryimportanttohavearationalunderstandingontheimpactsthatfilmandTVplayontourismifwewanttomakeitintofullplay.LackUnderstandingofhowscreentouristsperceive,interactandrelatetothedestinationUnderstandingofhowdifferentgenresmightimpactonthetouristappealoflocationsandtouristpropensitytovisitcertainplaces.UnderstandingofhowtotakeadvantageofthepositiverolethatfilmandTVplayinginpromotingtourismdevelopment.Thefocusofthereasearchisonthefunctionoffilminthedevelopmentoftourismindustry.Wewillcomprehensivelyandobjectivelyanalyzethecurrentproblemsinthefilmandtelevisiontourismindustry,andseektosomesuggestionsonhowtotakeadvantageofthepositiverolethatfilmandTVplayinginpromotingtourismdevelopment.Part2:
