Such a topic is closely to their daily life and can raise their learning interests. So it will be helpful to learn the

2、 rest of this unit for the students.Part two: Analysis of the studentsThe students are in Grade 3. They are active, curious and interested in new things. They have some basic English background knowledge. But they are afraid to speak English in class loudly. So I will try my best to guide and encour

3、age the students to speak loudly in class.Part three: teaching aims According to the new standard curriculum, my teaching aims are the following. Knowledge aims: Master the new words and the sentence patterns. Ability aims:Develop the students abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. T

4、rain the students ability of working groups. Emotional aims: Increase the students interest in learning English and let them love their homes. Part 4: teaching key and difficult pointsKey points: Master the new words and the sentence patterns; Develop the students abilities of listening, speaking, r

Difficult points: Let the students be able to express where they are in their homes.Part5 Teaching methods and learning methodsTeaching methods: situational teaching method, game teaching methodLearning methods: pair work, group work and individual workIn order to achieve the abo

6、ve goal, I will use: PPT, cards, models and video material.Part 6: teaching proceduresThere are five steps in this part. Step one warming up. Firstly the students will listen to a song “Hello. Monkey”. Purpose: In this way the students will pay attention to our class easily. Step two lead in. I will

7、 use the pictures of Peppa Pig and George to lead in and then I will play a video material. The video material is about hide and seek. George hides, Peppa Pig seeks. But Peppa Pig cant find him. Purpose: It can arouse the students interest of study. After watching it, I will ask them “Where is Georg

8、e?” Its a good chance for them to learn the new words. Step three: presentation. There are six rooms on the screen. Then I say “Where is George?” I will let the students to choose which room is George in. So Ill show the first picture “bedroom”. I use the high and low game to practice. After that, I

9、 will show the correct way to write the word and ask the students to write it on the paper. Then I will show the sentence pattern. They will practice in pairs. The sentences have learned in unit two. So its easy for the students. Next I will guide the students to look for George. A cat has been foun

10、d. Its not George. OK, lets keep looking for George. The students continue to choose a room. The second picture is coming “bathroom”. I teach this word by reading and play cards. Then I will write the word on the blackboard and the students write it down too. Next the students practice sentence patt

11、erns. I ask they answer. Group one ask group two answer. After that I guide the students to look for George. A toy has been found, so its not George. Lets go on looking for him. Guess again. Two students play scissors rock paper game Who wins who guesses. I use this way to teach the third word and t

12、he fourth word. PPT will show the word “study”. I will use hide and seek game to teach this word. After that, I write it on the blackboard. The students also write it down. The students use the word to ask and answer. They practice the sentences. After that the students will look for George. Finally

13、 they find a dog. So they should go on looking for George. The fourth word I will teach is “kitchen”. They practice it by reading one by one. Then put the word in the sentence. Now I ask they answer, they ask I answer. Next I guide the students to look for George. But its a mouse. So lets go on look

14、ing for him. There are two rooms this time . I guess. I think George is in room five. I will use bomb game to teach this word. Its necessary to write it down. They will practice sentence in this way that boys ask girls and change roles. Then lets go to look for George, but its a dinosaur. Lets go on

15、 looking for him. Peppa Pig thinks George must be in room six. So lets go into room six. I also use high and low game to teach this word. After that I will write this word on the blackboard. The students write down too. And then the students practice the sentence patterns where is George he is in th

16、e living room. Now lets look for George. is George here?. Now lets see a video material. We find George. Purpose: In order to master the key points and the difficult points. Train the students abilities of writing, reading and speaking, I have used some games to teach the new words. The students pra

17、cticed the sentence patterns in pairs and groups. Step 4: consolidation. 1: Listen and number. 2: Whats the missing word? 3: Listen first, then ask and answer.Purpose: In order to consolidate the new contents and train the students listening ability, I design this step.Step 5:summary. 1: Group work:

18、 Four students in a group, and draw a beautiful home. 2: Homework: Tell the rooms of your home to your parents. 3: Affective education: East and west, home is the best.
