1、mba 申请材料范文(英文)Business and Management Personal StatementMy motivation to study Aounting /Information Business at degree level develops from my enjoyment from the single Business Studies at AS, currently converted into a double award at A2. For me, Business Studies has proved to be a fascinating subj

2、ect, one that offers unlimited professional opportunities. My coursework case studies of both Norwich Union and Zenith Conservatories have given me an insight plexities involved in operating such varied businesses, I have found most intriguing, particularly those which relate to any financial consid

3、erations. Studying these business subjects at degree level will allow me to explore, in depth, a range of stimulating and interdisciplinary topics which I feel will give me a broader understanding towards the theories and practices of management in different organizations in relation to a Financial/

4、Information environmentAt school, I have participated in many fund raising events,open days and further education fairs. I regularly collect for Save the Children charity and have subsequently bee a member. Extra-curricular activities have incorporated drama productions of Grease, the promotion of t

5、he School productionof West Side Story as part of my Marketing unit and a heavy involvement in the preparation and publishing of our year 11 yearbook. These were demanding tasks, which included budgeting our costs and materials to keep within a specific price limit. Although it was tough, I found it

6、 extremely satisfying, especially after seeing the final results. My AS Business course has given me an understanding of organizations as a whole, but experiences such as working on the Year book and duties in my part time job has allowed me to expand my knowledge and consciousness of such financial

7、 topics. My ICT skills have developed highly through doing Vocational A levels, which I feel is invaluable in the Business field. The main thing I have learnt is that for all businesses, financial matters are imperative; it is the core of any organization and being knowledgeable in such issues attra

8、cts meMy munication skills have been enhanced through my part timeemployment with River Island. My promotion to weekend footwear manager is developing knowledge of financial record keeping, problem solving, meeting weekly sales targets and teamwork awareness, which I feel can be used and put into pr

9、actice whilst studying my preferred degree courseFrom the age of seven I attended a Bury St Edmunds Gymnastics club and peted at County, Regional and National levels. Thefeeling that I got when I played a role within the team to gain the gold medal was amazing, equal to the feeling when I achieved a

10、n individual gold medal as the top National around petitor. The realization of how important managing school work with a hobby which was not only physically demanding, but emotionally challenging has given me a understanding of how to be realistic, a skill which is valuable when planning certain bus

11、iness strategiesI believe that during my sixth form studies I have grown in both confidence and maturity, preparing me for the opportunity to study at university. My choice of AS and A levels, along with other academic and personal achievements have helped to consolidate and support my desire to stu

12、dy Business at degree level. I believe that I will be fully mitted to suessfully pleting Aountancy /Information Business related degree and relish in any opportunities which are given to help me achieve my aspirations in a business related career.Born into a peasant family isolated by high mountains

13、, I havee a long way to be where I am. A senior manager now of a state-owned pany that has grown into a medium-sized foreign trade business in China in only five years, I not only head one of my panys most important departments but also travel abroad from time to time on behalf of the pany. Often hu

14、ngryand cold as a child, I now enjoy a fortable life, which I hope will still get significantly better after I receive advanced business training in a quality MBA program.In many ways, it is thanks to the childhood hardship that I have made my achievements. In trying to help alleviate the financial

15、burden on my parents, I made my debut in the art of money-making at an age when American kids probably could not be hired to work. I still remember earning my first coin by buying fruits from one place and then selling them in another. Too little a profit it might seem, but it counted towards meetin

16、g the familys expenses the. But more importantly, the coin started me out in a business career that I now hope to translate into sizable fortunes.The hunger and humiliation that I endured as a conspicuouslypoor child, even by the standards of the poverty-stricken mountains, taught me the importance

17、of suess. Luckily, myparents, ignorant as they were, knewthatthe key t realsuess would lie in my education, andtheytoiled and moiledyear in and year out to put that keyintomy hand, in aparental spirit and tradition that probably can only be in China. Watching my parents working their backs off every

18、 day, I acquired the kind of determination, drive, and sense of responsibility not usually expected of Chinese women in China. With my parents unswerving support, I studieddiligently and outperformed most of my classmates. For years, my academic report card was the main source of pride in my family.

19、On the strength of my high scores in the National University Entrance Examinations, I entered I 1986 into the Bei g-based University of International Business and Economy, one of the nations leading higher-education institutions of its kind, to major in aounting in its Department of International Bu

20、siness Management. Brought up in an isolated munity, I was convinced that my country, just as my family, could only achieve real and sustained prosperity by readily doing business with the outside world. Masking full use of every minute I had, I read a variety of books and journals related to my maj

21、or, through which I broadened my vision and enriched my knowledge. My professional interests were focused mostly on aounting, finance, and international trade. As you can from the transcripts,my undergraduate academicrecord wasexcellent, ranking meamong the top three amongthe 140students of my depar

22、tment. In recognition of myperformance,the university awarded me a streamofscholarships and prizes.While my grades are outstanding, Iammore distinguished bymy publications, which demonstrateaninsistent quest forreal solutions to real problems. The International Business, a widely-read business journ

23、al in China, published a numberof my articles. These include Reasons of the American Trade Deficit with China (Sept. 1, 1987), Exploration of the Stock- holding System Employed by the Big and Medium-sized State- owned Enterprises (Mar. 29, 1988), and Prospects of the International Shipping Industry

24、(May 5, 1988). In 1990, I worked as a coeditor to the Dictionary of Contemporary Aounting and Financial Management, which has since bee a major professional reference book to many Chinese entrepreneurs, aountants, auditors and other professionals the business munity. My editing concentrated on six s

25、ections, Aounting, Auditing, Financial Management, International Finance, International taxation, Bonds and Real Estates.My solid education paid off in my ability to take on avariety of responsibilities in Chinas booming economy. After I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Economics in I first took up t

26、he job of an assistant to the funding manager at the China National Technical Import & Export Corporation, where I gradually developed into an experienced aounting professional. Upon a meticulous analysis of the panys financial statements, reports and other records, I found its financing policy skew

27、ed. It was borrowing billions of RMB with high interest rates while maintaining large deposits at low interest rates. Together with my supervisor, I rewrote the financing policy, saving the corporationapproximately thirty million yuan. To maximize financing efficiency, I also developed an internal b

28、anking system that, by closely tracking the actual funding supply and demands of different departments and projects, made full use of the corporation financial resources. For this, I received special mendation from the president of the corporation.Since 1993, Ihave beenmeetingincreasingly greatercha

29、llenges atthe ChinaKingdomImport & Export Corporation,a pany that Ihelped toset up.As head of the panysFinancial and Aounting Division, I formulated its aounting rules and policies, internal control mechanism, financing plans, contract-control systems, and many other crucial policies. By meticulous

30、budgeting and aounting, my division played a very important role in the corporations rapid growth, which reached an annual total of sales of US$30,000,000 in 1997. This impressive track record now gives it a strong petitive edge over others. It enjoys an A credit rating by the China Merchants Bank,

31、and has been designated an honor importer by the U.S.A Sea-food Association.Having been in business for eight years, I feel that I have not taken full advantages of my potential, all my achievements notwithstanding. I have practiced my professional expertise in aounting, demonstrated my leadership a

32、bilities and perfected my munication skills. ButI have yet to bee an entrepreneur in my own right, and to fully master the art of modern business. I want to be trained more vigorously in scientific methods of analysis and synthesis. As Chinas embrace of market economy gets consolidated, it creates a lot of opportunities and challenges that I do not yet feel fully confident to seize. need to understand better how a full-blown market economy like that of the United States really works. I am sure that, in many respects, China
