2、he Head Teacher is based on the topic Helping Those in Need in Unit 1, Module 1, Book 8. The previous texts introduce three teenagers voluntary experiences through a form of diary. The voluntary work includes orphanage, the recovery center for the disabled and the childrens hospital. Helping people

3、in need has been an appealing topic for students, and the writing task gives the students a good chance to talk about how to help the poor children in the poor areas. It also gives them a good chance to design a good plan to donate money to help kids in need. Therefore, it can train students to thin

4、k and to make plans. The writing task can also be a good chance for the students to put into use what they have read and learnt in this unit. Analysis of the studentsMaking plans to raise money can be quite interesting for students in junior middle school, so they are likely to show great interest i

5、n thinking about plans to raise money. However it may be a good challenge in terms of their writing ability and expressing their ideas. The good thing is that they have read and learnt a certain amount of expressions and sentences regarding helping people in need and about voluntary work.Teaching Ob
