3、modern signal processing and statistical estimation methods applied in data analysis,as well as combine the application in geophysical data processing and analysis,introducing the fundamental theories and implementation methods,but the complicated mathematical argument is not in need,make it approac
4、hable and easily understandable. 2.Design ideas:The application of the comprehensive geophysical methods in mineral resources exploration and engineering construction has become more and more extensive,playing an increasingly important role in national economic construction.In the process of compreh
5、ensive geophysical information,the application of advanced interdisciplinary information processing technology is of great practical significance.The course applies the information processing technologies which is commonly used at present ,for instance optimum filter design,spectral decompositions,t
6、ime-frequency analysis,wavelet transform.et ongeophysical information processing and combines large numbers of geophysical examples for illustration,striving for approachable and easily understandable,let students grasp the basic principles of modern information processing in geophysical information
7、 processing. 3. relationship with other courses:prerequisite course:advanced mathematics,linear algebra,method of mathematical physics.Course objectiveThe course includes foundation which signal processing,scientific calculation and geophysical field apply to geophysics,the aims are to cultivate the
8、 students:(1)grasp the basic theories and methods of signal analysis ;(2)grasp the basic principles of modern signal processing and methods of data analysis applied to geophysical information processing;(3)realization of some algorithms on computers;(4)lay the solid mathematical and computational fo
9、undation of continuous study in processing in pratical geophysical data.Academic requirementBasis of geophysical information processing involves in many concepts and principles of geophysics,it requires students have solid foundation of geophysical theories and strong ability of computer programming
10、.Students should prepare lessons before classes,attend classes on time and follow the teacher carefully,take part in discussion in class and analysis of typical cases actively.At the same time,the course would assign much homework of programming,besides the time arranged in class,students may need t
11、o take extra-curricular time to complete the programming assignments.In addition,because geophysical subjects involved in geophysical information technology are extensive,students need to refer to related bibliographies and lierature for better understanding related concepts and theories in the spar
