2、onsibleforadministratingthedesignofCodeitemsandassuringthatalldesignservicesdonebyothersinaccordancewiththeCoderequirements.TheManagerofDesignSectionshallberesponsibleforacceptingtheCustomersSpecificationincludingdrawingsandotherreferencedocuments.WhentheCustomerand/orotherorganizationsrequesttosubm

3、itthedocumentsfortheirreviewandapproval,theManagerofDesignSectionshallreviewalldesigndocumentsthatwillbesuppliedtothecustomertoassurehisrequirementsandprovidetheDocumentTransmittalCard(ListNO.QCP-01-2).Heshallberesponsibleforreviewingdrawings,calculationsheet,materialrequisition,andPurchasespecifica

4、tionpreparedbytheDesignEngineer,toassurethecompliancewithcurrentCode.AddendaandCustomersspecification.Whenprooftestisnecessary,heshallberesponsibleforimplementingthetestandprovidethetestreport.TheDesignEngineersWPECDOC.NO.:QCDP-01REV.NO.:0Page3of6TheDesignEngineersshallberesponsibleforpreparingdrawi

5、ngsandcalculationsheetoftheCodeitems.ThedesignengineersshallreviewtheCustomerSpecificationtoverifythattheSpecificationcontainsrequirementsanddatainsuchdetailastoconstituteanadequatebasisforselectingmaterials,designing,fabricating,testingandinspectingtheCodeItems,andthattheSpecificationconformstother

6、equirementsoftheCode.TheDesignEngineerswilltakepartinprooftest.TheDesignEngineersshallberesponsibleforrevisingthedesigndocumentsinaccordaneewithpara.4ofthisrule.DesignProcessControlDesignProcessThedesignprocessofpressurevesselisdividedintotwostages,thepreliminarydesignstageandtheconstructiondrawingd

7、esignstage.Thepreliminarydesignmeansthebasicdesignpreparedforbiddingorquotingpurpose.Forthecauseofmanagement,thequotingdrawingshallbereviewedbytheDesignSectionManagerandapprovedbytheGeneralEngineer.Theroutineprocedureforpreparation,reviewandapprovaloftheconstructiondrawingdesignshallconformtotherequ

8、irementsoftheQCManual.TheWorkofRespectiveStageInthepreliminarydesign,acomparisonoftechniqueandeconomyshallbemadetoindicatethatthetechnologyisadvaneed,theexpenseisreasonable,safetyisensured,andthedesignisincompliancewiththeCoderequirements.WPECDOC.NO.:QCDP-01REV.NO.:0Page4of6Theconstruction-drawingde

9、signshallconformtotherequirementsoftheASMECodeandtheCustomersSpecification.2.3DesignQualityThedesignersshallimplementtheauthorityandresponsibilityprescribedinpara.1aboveforacquiringgoodqualityofdesign.DesignDocumentsControlThedesigndocumentsincludetheCustomersSpecification,drawingsandcalculationshee

10、ttheMaterialRequisitionincludingPurchaseSpecification,theDesignRevisionNoticeandprooftestreportetc.ThedocumentspreparedbyDesignSectionshallberegisteredandnumberedbytheDocumentKeeperofFileSection.Thedocumentsreceivedfromotherfactories,suchastheCustomersSpecificationshallberegisteredbytheDocumentKeepe

11、r,andshallbeissuedtotheconcernedpersonnelbytheDesignSectionManager.TheassigneeofanydocumentshallberegisteredintheDocumentList.TheobsoletedocumentsshallbehandledinaccordaneewiththeprovisionoftheQCManual.ThosedocumentswithoutcoveredintheQCManualshallbedecidedbytheDesignSectionManager.RevisionofDesignD

12、ocumentResponsibilityandProcedureIfadesigndocumenthastoberevisedduringfabricationperiod,theoriginaldesignershallWPECDOC.NO.:QCDP-01REV.NO.:0Page5of6putforwardtherevisionopinion.Theroutineprocedureofreviewandapprovalforrevisionshallbethesameastheoriginal.TheoriginaldesignershallfilltheDesignRevisionC

13、olumnofthedesigndocument.Theretaineddrawingsandthedrawingsbeingusedformanufacturingshallberevisedand/orreplacedbythelatestdrawings.Thefirstdraftingshallberevised.MethodsofRevisionThesize,letterorfiguretoberevisedshallbemarkedoutbyathinline.Thepartmarkedoutshallbevisibleforshowingthecontentbeforerevi

14、sion.Then,thenewsizeorletterorfigureshallbemade.Therevisionmarkshallbeshownneartherevisionposition.Athinlineshallbedrawnfromthetriangleoftherevisionmarktotheletterorfiguremarkedout,therevisiontimesshallbewrittenonthetrianglewithnumber.Thesamerevisionmarkshallbeusedfortherevisionofpartsinthesametime.
