5、The present Standard shall apply to columns with internals and shall be observed by the manufacturer in addition to the Linde-Standard 201-01.DesignGeneralIdentical parts of internals shall be interchangeable.The height of the folds integrated at the edge of the tray plates and/or that of separate t

6、russings, if any, shall not exceed 20 % of the tray spacing.Drain holes in liquid-tight trays and seal pans shall be provided for (e.g. holes in outlet weirs.)Loads and Deflections of Column InternalsColumn internals shall be designed so as to withstand the following minimum loads:Trays and/or tray

7、cover plates resp. shall be designed for a single load of 90 kg (at conditions of erection).Downcomer areas shall be designed for a uniform load of 300 kg/m2 equivalent to a load of water or liquid, at design temperature, corresponding to the load of half the height of the downcomer. The less favour

8、able values shall be used.Plates (e.g. chimney hoods, baffles etc.) not under loads of liquid shall be designed for a uniform load of 80 kg/m2 on the basis of the projected horizontal plane.The supporting rings of the trays of a column shall be designed for an upward load of 450 kg/m2.Page 2IssueTra

9、y mountings shall be sufficiently dimensioned for the transfer of loads to the supporting elements and column wall. They shall likewise prevent any dislocation of removable tray sections in case of shocks.The liquid distributors shall be designed for the max. liquid load.Supporting grids for random

10、packing and structured packing shall be designed for the specified load.The admissible deflections are as follows:For sieve trays, bubble cap - and valve trays and liquid distributors: 1 mm/m at the load stated under Para. 2.2.;For cascade trays: 2 mm/m, but max. 10 mm at operating conditions;All tr

11、ays shall be capable of withstanding such loads as will result from liquid levels to the tray spacing at operating conditions, without becoming permanently deformed!For downcomers and/or impingement plates: 3 mm at maximum height of liquid in the downcomer at operating conditions minus inlet height

12、at maximum load acting on impingement plates;For trussings and supports: They shall be capable of withstanding the total weight of the parts to be supported at operating conditions (e.g. supporting grid plus filled in random packing plus liquid content) and at conditions of erection, without exceedi

13、ng the above defined deflections.Admissible stresses for the above mentioned cases:at operating conditions: min. yield strength/1,5 or min. tensile strength/3at conditions of erection: min. yield strength/1,1 or min. tensile strength/2Deflection of Columns:The maximum admissible deflection of column

14、s under wind load is 1/250 of the column height.For the calculation of the deflection, 30 % of the design wind velocity (corresponds to 9 % of the design wind load) shall be used.Constructional DetailsIt shall be possible to install and remove all removable parts through manholes. Minimum inner dia.

15、 of the manholes 480/580 at DN 500/600.Unless otherwise specified, all detachable parts shall be designed so that they can be installed and removed from top.Elongated holes or larger holes shall be provided for there, where trussings are screwed with plates or clips.The max. bolt hole distance in jo

16、ints and edge fastening of rectification trays and liquid distributors shall not exceed 150 mm. Smallest bolt size M10.All gaps resulting from the tray construction shall be covered with plate strips. Metal-to-metal sealing is sufficient, unless a special sealing is required.All nuts shall be secure

17、d (e.g. spring washers).Draw off trays, collecting - and distributor trays shall be sealed.Trays, parts of which are not accessible through manholes, shall be provided with manways in the tray cover plate. Manways in the tray cover plate shall be arranged in alignment one beneath the other and shall

18、 be removable from both sides.For 4-path trays, manways shall be provided for in the downcomer walls, in the area of he manholes.Smallest bolt size M10.Manways shall have a minimum size of 400 * 500 mm. In case the geometry of the tray does not allow the installation of such a manway (small column d

19、iameter or too narrow tray sections) the trays shall be divided.All rectification trays and liquid distributors shall be punched free from burrs, and plane.Impingement plates on inlet nozzles shall at least be 3 mm thick, and removable. They shall be stiffened towards the vessel shell.Internal ladde

20、r rungs shall be provided for in the sump area beneath the manhole only. Execution acc. to Linde-Standard 201-34.Documents of the ManufacturerIndication of WeightsThe total weight of the internals acc. to 4.2.1 per column shall be indicated on the assembly drawing and the individual weight on the dr

21、awing for internals.Marking for AssemblyFor purposes of assembly, each part shall be clearly designated with a parfs number on the assembly drawing.Notes for FabricationThe drawing for internals shall have the entry that all rectification trays and liquid distributors shall be punched free from burr

24、luding supports;demisters including supports;supports with screws and nuts for inserts for laminated-type and cyclone-type separators.Remarks:Dimensions for inserts for laminated-type and cyclone-type separators, for supports for rectification trays and downcomer walls as well as for random packing

25、and structured packing internals will be specified after placement of order. They shall be asked for in writing at Linde AG prior to beginning with manufacture, if required.Scope of Supply for the Manufacturer of InternalsIncluded in the scope of supply for the manufacturer of the internals are amon
