1、参赛内容:初中8A 第8单元第4课时宜城市小河镇砖庙初级中学汤 小 艳工作简历:2006年6月毕业于孝感学院 2006年9月至现今任教于宜城市小河镇砖庙中学现教班级:六年级二班教学质量自评:每年的年度考核均合格校办联系电话人联系电话Lesson Plan of Unit 8 When is your birthday? (第四课时)教学内容分析 本单元围绕“日期”这个话题展开教学,并设计了相关的语言情景,引导学生通过学习年月日的正确表达,进而学会询问和回答朋友的生日以及个人的日程安排。本节课内容是该单元的第四课时,由一个图画连线活动(1),
2、一项听力任务(2a and 2b)和一项结对活动(2c)构成。本节课内容在承接前一课时“询问他人姓名,年龄和生日信息”的基础上,通过学习更多词汇进一步运用和巩固本单元所学句型when is +生日或某项活动 ,最终目的是提高学生的听说读写能力。该课时的容量看上去很少,实际上包含的内容比较多,在本单元的学习中起到了承上启下的作用。二、The teaching and learning aims教学目标1. 3、) Learn to talk about the events dates. 3) Be able to talk about the dates using the new target language.2. The teaching procedure and method 过程与方法 1) Let the students talk about the events. 2) Learn to talk about dates by groupwork.3. The moral aim情感、态度与价值观Tell students they should remember their p
4、arents and grandparents birthday and say “ happy birthday” to them. Warming up 热身活动(2 minutes) 1) Sing an English song.

Glad to see you 【设计说明:通过课前热身活动,营造英语氛围,拉近师生之间的距离,活跃课堂气氛,使学生在轻松愉快的氛围中自然地进入英语学习状态。】Step 2. Revise and lead-in 复习和导入(8 minutes) Revise the key vocabulary and expre
6、ssions in the last period.(老师手里拿着一张身份证展示给学生看,并且对学生说:) T: Look, here is my ID card. My name is Jenny Brown. My birthday is March 21st . So how old am I?Ss: You are twenty-eight years old.T: Right. 8、 is your birthday? Wu Yue: My birthday is May 15th . T: Do you have a birthday party. (用多媒体展示一个生日集会的画面,指着图片并重复 birthday party) Wu Yue: Yes, I do. T: When is your birthday party? Wu Yue: My birthday party is May 15th . T: When is Wu Yues birthday party? (问全班学生) Ss: His birthday party is May 15th . (
9、Chain Drills: The teacher write “ birthday party” on the blackboard and points at the picture on the screen, let the Ss repeat it, first one by one, then the whole class.) 2) Present another word .T: Fangfany, we know you will have a speech contest .( 用多媒体展示一个演讲的画面, 边展示边说:) T: When is your speech co

TBL activities 任务型活动 (12 minutes) 1) Task 1: Ss work in groups to fill in the form. (教师用多媒体将下

Ask Ss to listen to the conversation carefully and write the name of each event in the correct place on the Calendar. 【设计说
17、明:调整教材编排顺序,把2a,2b放在任务型活动之后,由于前面的听说训练扎实到位,此时做听力训练就水到渠成,大大提高了听的效果,提升了学生的学习信心,使学生享受到成功的喜悦。】 Step 6.
