1、PAGE PAGE 5Unit 5 I am watching TV.本单元学习与考试综合解读一、课标导航本单元以:“What are you doing?”引出话题:谈论人们正在做什么。这即是现在进行时,它表示说话时正在进行的动作或发生的情况。而一般现在时表示经常发生的事情。学会现在进行时和一般现在时的问答非所问。通过本单元的学习主要掌握:Key words:Watching, doing, eating, cleaning, playing, swimming, talking, shopping, reading, pool, school, mall, library.Target l

At 3 oclock.Grammar :1现在进行时。2一般现在时。3。一般疑问句及其简单答语。二、重点难点本单元重点,谈论人们正在做什么,即现在进行时。谈论经常发生的事情,即一般现在时,以及它的问答形式。本单元难点:区分并正确运用现在进行时和一般现在时。三、学法指导本单元首先设置:人物正在进行的活动 情景,导出本单元中心句“What are you doing? Im watching TV.”要求同学们以听、看、说的方式讨论Section A的内容,当然要注意现在进行时和一般现在时的区别。Section B
4、除了强调听、看、说之外,还强调写,学生们两两之间的对话或分小组活动。在课外可以进行下列任务活动:打电话做汇报:你在做什么?在家时打电话给同学,看看他们都在做什么,看看谁会合理安排时间,谁的业余生活丰富多彩,并作表格记录:People Time Activities Mary Susan Jack 并运用以下语言:a. What are you doing? I am b. Hi, Mary, what are you doing? I am watching TV. It is interesting. How about you? Oh, I dont like watching TV. I
5、 am listening to music.找理由拒绝别人的邀请:生活中常遇到别人邀请自己,而自己恰好有别的事,或不想去,你该如何拒绝别人呢?可用下列语言:a. I am doing b. Jim, do you want to the movies with me?Oh, sorry. I am watching the videos.Watching the videos? Sound boring.But I dont think so. I dont like to go to the movies.That is too bad!当记者做现场报道:为大家讲述身边发生的事情。可用下列
6、语句;a. He / she is doingb. They are doing c. ReportToday is a special day. Its Toms birthday party. And all her family and friends are there. His brother is playing the guitar. John is singing. Her parents are talking with her teacher. Lucy is doing 选择一些场所去观察人们在做什么?同学们以小组为单位到车站、候诊室、公园等公共场所观察,并记录或用简笔画
7、形式表现出来,再与同学进行交流,看谁做得最出色。可用下列语言:a. A man is doing b. Some old women are doingc. Report We are in the doctors room. A man is sleeping. Another man is reading newspaper. Two people are talking in a low voice. And this baby is crying. The nurse is working.四、中考趋向将现在进行时与一般现在时结合起来考查,这是中考中常见形式。同时这两种时态也是阅读理解
8、和书面表达的基础。课文详解Section A 课文A Language goal: talk about what people are doing 语言目标:谈论人们在干什么1a. Match the words with the activities 把单词与活动连起来。 P25Answers: 1.d 2.a 2.b 3.c 4.f 5.e 学点1 What are you doing? I m watching TV你在干什么?我在看电视。1)该句的谓语是由be+v-ing 组成。称为:进行时。因为be动词的现在式是am is ara,而句中的谓语是are + doing, 所以是现在
9、进行时,此时的be动词必须和主语的人称、数保持一致。而be本身无词义。V -ing 形式在语法上有时也称为“现在分词或动名词,。在我们这个单元中学的V - ing 形式应称为:现在分词。其基本构词法有三种: 1一般情况下,直接在词尾加-ing. Eg: working going looking2. 以不发音结尾的,去e 加-ing, eg: rideriding writewriting.3. 以重读闭音节结尾,末尾只有一个辅音字母,将辅音字母双写再加-ing. Eg: sitting putting beginning. 还有一点要给学生强调一下,一定要是前面只有一个元音字母后边只有一个辅
10、音字母的重读闭音节。如boat、wait等动词时就不要双写。在本单元出现的be 十v -ing 句式,我们称其为:进行时态,说明某事正在发生。在这些句子中所用的be 动词是is am are. 说明某人正现在正在做 。所以我们称:is / are/am + V-ing 的句式为:现在进行时态。表示:某人现在正在做 或某事现在正在 ,常与时间副词now 连用。如:It is raining now.现在正在下雨。Im listening to the pop music.我正在听流行音乐。He is working in the office 他正在办公室工作。2)现在进行时有以下几种用法。用来
11、表示说话时或现阶段正在发生的事情。通常用于动态的,表示动作的动词。静态动词如sit stay如:I m working 我正在工作。 Who s speaking?打电话时用。提问时,应将BE 动词(助动词)提到主语前。后面的v-ing形式(动名词)保持不变。末尾加问号,就是上学期所说的一提二改三问号。如:What are you doing ?你在做什么?Im learning English我正在学英语。Are you reading now ?你在看书吗?Yes, I am . ( No,I m not. )是的,我在看。(不,我没在看。)否定时在be动词的后面加not 。如:He is
12、 not cooking now他现在并不在做饭。现在进行时可表示不断重复的动作,带有某种感情色彩,如赞叹,厌烦等,常和always,等一起用。如:She is always crying 她总在哭。You are always leaving your dirty socks on the floor !你总是把脏袜子到处乱2)现在进行时的肯定、否定、一般疑问式及回答,1b. listen. He 15 reading . 学点2 dinner 的用法。( 1) dinner 是一天当中主要的正餐,现在通常是指晚餐而言,但在星期假日午餐也常称为dinner,这种情形晚餐称为supper.( 2 )通常不使用冠词,但是前面有形容词的时候,有时加上冠词,有时变为复
14、数如:Ive cooked a nice dinner 我做好了一顿可口的晚餐。Eat dinner 吃晚餐 hold a dinner 举行晚宴 make / prepare dinner 做晚餐“2a . Listen to the conversation and answer these questions 听对话,并回答问题. p26Answers: 1. That TV show is boring 那听起来太好了。这部电剧太无聊了 此处sound 是连系动词(link v . )意为“似乎;听起来”,后加名词或形容词作其表语。如:That sounds a good idea 那听起来是个好主意。His explanation (解释)sounds all right 他的解释听起来还可以。 boring adj无聊的;无趣的;单调沉闷的;令人厌烦的。如:The movie 15 quite boring这部影片很无聊。The student are bored with his story 学生们对这个故事感到厌倦。2c

18、t s 征求对方同意。句中1et s,是let us 的缩写,读作1ets ,意为:让我们 。后面可接原形动词(省去了的不定式)用于建议。如:Lets play baseball我们来打棒球吧。Let s 90 to the movie 我们去看电影吧。Let s 的否定式是1et s not.如:Let s not watch TV . 我们别看电视了吧。此外,let 与us 也可分开写:let us 读作l etAS ,其含义不同于let s ,常用于请对方同意自己去做如:Lets sing a song. Us包括在场的所有人。Let us sing a song. 让我来唱歌吧。3b

21、for a bus.1. wait for是固定搭配,意为“等候;等待”。如:Wait for me, please. 请等等我。What are waiting for the rain to stop 我们正在等着雨停下。2 What s 是What is 的缩写,He s 是He is 的缩写。还有:Im = I amShes =She is arent = are not isn t = is not 学点6 Who are Lisa and Tim talking to ?丽莎和蒂姆在与谁说话? What are they talking about ?他们在谈论什么?talk 在此
22、用作动词。可以组成talk with / to / about 等短语。talk about 谈论 talk to强调一个人在讲,其余人在听。Iulk with 强调谈论双方都在讲。she is talking towith her classmates 她正和她的同学谈话呢。What are you talking about ?你们在谈论什么呢?talk 还可用作名词,如:have a talk 听报告give a talk 做报告Section B 课文B1a look at the pictures, complete the chart.看图并完成下面的图表.
