1、Unit1 SectionB (2a-2c)教案Analysis of the teaching material:This unit s language goal is to let students learn how to introduce yourself, greet people and ask for and give telephone numbers. This period serves as the reading of the unit. In this part, Students are presented with first names and last n
2、ames and they should be able to tell the difference between English names and Chinese names. And for the telephone number, they should be able to read them correctly and quickly. Besides the material on the book, I will present some more pictures to attract them.Analysis of the students:Students are
3、 quite familiar with most names and it wont be difficult for them to say them aloud. They will be presented with more names and numbers to consolidate their knowledge. Guided properly, they should also be able to write a piece of composition about their friends including their first name, last name,
4、 telephone number and so on. Teaching method:Communicative teaching method;Task-based teaching methodTeaching aid:A multi-media classroom will be employed to help improve the teaching efficiencyand make the learning more interesting.Teaching aims:1.Know ledge aimsStudents are expected to identify fi
5、rst names and last names; 2.Ability aimsStudents will practice their spoken English by talking about their friends.Students are expected to use scanning to finish activity 2b and 2c on page 5.3. Emotional aimsStudents team spirit will be improved through the pair work and group work.Important points
6、:Help students know and tell first name and last name and master the method ofreadingscanning.Difficult points:1 / 3Get students to tell the difference of names between English and Chinese.Teaching procedures:Step 1 Greetings and revisionGreet students and revise the numbers we have learnt last peri
7、od.Intention: 课前跟学生进行日常的口语问候并且复习已经学过的数字,通过 “Can you say? 这”个小游戏来活跃课堂的气氛,带动学生的学习热情。Step 2Lead-inShare students with some pictures of different stars and draw students attention to their names, then let them say their names and tell first name and last name. Intention :播放学生喜爱的明星照片,学生对其较为熟悉和感兴趣,引导学生说出他
8、们的姓氏和名字,进而引入本节课的重点, 对教学目标的完成有很大的帮助。Step 3 Pre-readingPresent more pictures of different stars to students and guide them to say the first names and last names. Enable them to remember the difference between English names and Chinese names.Intention :电视明星,体育明星在电视机中可谓是无处不在,学生对他们也比较了解,但可能缺乏对中国明星姓名和外国明星
9、姓名的对比分析,而课本中图片对学生来说比较枯燥, 所以在该环节的设计中我另外选取了一些更有代表性、更能引起学生共鸣的姓名, 引导学生对其构成进行分析, 从而让学生对中国人的姓名和外国人的姓名的不同有一定的了解。Step 4 While-readingActivity1 2a1)Ask students to read the list of names, and then write for first name and for lastname.2)Collect their answers and help them use sentence structure to ask for na

11、k students to use scanning to do the activity 2b and 2c.Intention :鉴于本节课主要目的是为了让学生区别first name 和 last name并掌握数字的读法,所以 2a 和 2b 的活动任务都是紧紧围绕教学目标展开,在阅读过程中使用寻读方法做任务,有利于学生掌握重点信息。Step 5 Post-readingActivity 1 Group-workAsk students to introduce themselves and choose one of group members to introduce including the following information: first name, last name and telephone number. Intention: 阅读后活动旨在让学生将学过的知识运用到生活实践之中,并且通过小组活动培养学生的合作意识。Step 6 SummaryAsk students to summarize what we have learnt this period.Intention: 让学生自己进行总结有利于对已经学生过的内容加深记忆。Blackboard writingUnit 1
