They provide an accurate history of movement and early warning of potential structural damage. The narrow-angle EL tiltm

5、eter (shown with cover removed) measures tilt over a range of +/- 40 arc minutes. It can detect changes as small as one arc second (0.00028 degree). It is supplied with a two-point mounting bracket for use with groutable anchors. 第11页/共26页第十二页,共26页。EL Beam SensorThe beam sensor consists of an electr

6、olytic tilt sensor attached to a rigid metal beam. The tilt sensor is a precision bubble-level that is sensed electrically as a resistance bridge. The bridge circuit outputs a voltage proportional to the tilt of the sensor. The beam, which is typically 1 to 3 meters long, is mounted on anchor bolts

7、that are set into the structure. Movement of the structure changes the tilt of the beam and the output of the sensorThe EL beam sensor can detect a change in tilt as small as one second of arc, equivalent to a movement of 0.005 mm per meter of beam. 第12页/共26页第十三页,共26页。Typical Installation of EL Tilt

8、 Sensor (1)Installing Anchors 1. Mark locations for anchor holes as shown below.2. Drill anchor holes in structure deep enough to embed about50mm of anchor. Remove debris.3. Attach mounting plate to anchors. This will keep the anchorsparallel while grout hardens.4. Mix epoxy grout as directed by man

Fill hole with grout, then insert anchor.4. Allow grout to harden before mounting beam.5. Measure the center to center distance between e
