3、is DIY ” , through talking about theuseful information of Andrew and his DIY ” , excite ss to have a strong sense of practicecon sicious ness and self con sicious ness.2. An alysis of stude ntsThe students who attend this unit are Grade8 year ss, so it important for them to developtheir liste ning ,

13、 what jobs An drew did and whatproblems he caused and teach them how to infer the meaning from the thepictures and the con text.Task4 Read Para 5 together , fill in the blanks and learn how to infer the meaning from thepictures ,key words and the con text.Goals: These two tasks can help students und
14、erstand the major content of this passageand develop their reading skills:skimming,scanning by completing tasks. Theycan have the ability of inferring the meaning skills.Step 3 Post reading1. Have a competition :Method : Divide students into boy group and girl group .Ask them to try to say moresente
