Grammar : The Passive Voice 1. 语态及语态的用法: 当我们不知道谁是动作的执行者,或者没有必要指出谁是动作的执行者。或者只需要强调动作的承受着时,要用被动语态。2. 被动语态的构成: 被动语态由“助动词be+及物动词的过去分词”构成,观察下列句子:1)Trees are planted by people every spring.

The news made her sad.4. in the end = at last = finally 最后,终于。 at the end of在-的结尾/尽头。 by the end of -在-结束时,到-末为止。.5 .taste +adj/n/prep 是系动词, “尝起来-” . 其它表示人的感觉的系动词有: sound 听起来,smell 闻起来, feel 摸上去,look 看起来。例如:The building looked like a hospital.
