Status and function of this period in the teaching material: This period is the frist one of Unit 7, with its focus on learning how to ask and describe the procedure of making a kind of food. We can see fr

5、om the picture in the book that two boys are making a banana milk shake. Through Learning, Students should master some action verbs and try to use them in practice and communication. Besides, Its very useful to improve students listening and speaking ability, which helps students communicate better

6、in the dialy life. Teaching goals:a.knowledge Goals: enable the students to master new words, phrases and familiar with Imperatives. Moreover,let sudents know how to ask and describe a process.b.Ability Goals: enable the students to do free and fluent conversational practice using the knowledge they

7、 have learned, and continne to develop their basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, and improve ther English communication ability. Teaching important points and difficult points:a. Important points: enable the students to describe the procedure of making akind of food in English.

Diffitult points: how to improve students listeaing and speaking ability let students know what called “imperatives”:这是一种句子类型,直接以动词原形开头,省略主语,表达一种命与令与请求的语气。Part: Teaching method:The content of this period is not so much. Besides, I have asked the students to preview the new words and the content o

9、f this period to obtain a first imperession. Thus, the teaching procedures can be more easily carried out.During the course of teaching, I adopt the heuristic method of teaching and the recycled teaching method. For example, when teaching some action verbs. I use my own body gestures to explain this

10、 word vividly and make good use of some ppts to emphasize the word in order to ask students to remember them firmly, Then ask some students to make sentences using them, which can deepen students impresson of them and use them flexibly. And at this course,the teacher should show her praise and encon

11、rgeratmt at once, and then the students will feel happy, which will make them like to learn and be able to learn well. In this may, they can be more deeply impressed.Meamhile, I also adopt the communication method. In class, try to let students speak as much as possible and do pair-work and group-wo

12、rk. So as to reach the ability goals of this lessm. Part: Learning strategies:Guided by the idea to “strengthen the psychological ability, and lighten the psychological burden of the students”, begin with the desire to develop a good relation between the teacher and students, inspire their interest

13、to learn, and lead them to actively explore, discover and solve the problems by themselves. Students are centered as the principal part in the teaching procedure with the leading of the teacher. In the procedure of the teaching practice, learning guides of the following aspects should be paid attent
