What is motivation? It consists of internal process which spurs on to satisfy some n

According to Jeremy Harmer, motivation is some kind of internal drive that encourages people to pursue a course of action. And we have two main categories of motivation in educational psycholog

Factors of physical conditions, teaching methods, the teachers quality and learning process can also a

Factors of integrative motivation and instrumental motivation will affect external motivation .Besides; the students attitudes around him or her also hav

10、e a strong influence upon the students motivation in English learning It is convincing that motivation plays a vital role in foreign language learning. Theoretically, motivation can stimulate learners enthusiasm; arouse a learner to feel enlivened, provoked or excited. Actually, the students who are

We have seen that different factors may affect a students motivation, and a strongly motivated student is in a far better position as a learner than a student who is not motiv

Thus, the teacher should strive to make his class interesting and help students build self?Cconfidence. 2.1.2 Reaction System of Students Themselves Studentss learning intention is also influenced by his own reaction system. His final learning intention is directly shaped by his desire to make

17、 a thorough inquiry towards the task. For example, when I was a junior middle school student, being as the gave me much pressure, so I worked very hard, especially English. I thought, if I could speak a fluent and standard English, I would feel a sense of achievement and satisfaction. These reasons

Day by day, I stacked to learning English all the time and Ive got a great progress in it. 2.2 Praise Suitably To praise learners can increase the intensity of learning motivation. It is a way to strengthen the studentslearning, which can motivate their sense of self?Crespec

This is because timely praise takes the advantage of the fresh memory idea just left to make the stud

For example, when I was a freshman, my spoken English, teacher, Mart, had an excellent command of a foreign language and made his class interesting, so I liked him as well as his class. Every day, I would practice my oral English through reading lo

Comparing with timely praise, the effect of non?Ctimely praise is not so good because the situation of accomplishing
