1、新目标八年级英语下册第 2 单元话题作文设计Unit2 What should I do徐闻县梅溪中学 柯小红一、本单元话题分析本单元主要是运用should, could这两个情态动词来解答同学们在生活中遇到的问题,给出相关的建议。而在运用should, could给建议之前,要先引导学生复习一下情态动词的相关用法,如:情态动词的词义并不完整,不能单独做谓语,两个情态动词也不能连用, 后面必须连接实义动词原形来一同做谓语。 情态动词表示说话人对动作或事物的态度和看法, 如可能, 应该或必要等等。 情态动词通常没有人称和数的变化形式,否定形式是在情态动词后面加 not, 疑问形式是将情态动词提前

2、。should是 应该,应当”的意思,could是 可以,可能”的意思。1. 情态动词的不同句式转换:肯定形式: You should save water.He could talk with your friends. 否定形式: You shouldn't stay at home for a long time. You couldn't play computer games again.疑问形式: Should I leave now?Could you please help me?2. 可用短语:call sb up, talk about the proble

3、ms with sb, write to sb, as.as possible, on the one hand, on the other hand, find out3. 好句待用: There are a lot of things you could do.Maybe you should ask your teachers for help.I have an idea. You could call him up.You shouldn t complain too much.二、设计理念根据新课标,把“激发和培养学生的学习兴趣,树立信心,形成有效的学习策略” 为教学的首要目标,

4、本话题活动把枯燥的语法学习和基础写作通入到学生感兴趣的生活中,通过各种形式,激发学生的学习兴趣。在实际操作中,让学生通过合作学会运用目标语言进行交流和写作。I. 8、 have any good ideas for m?e I'm looking forward to hear from you soon.Yours,MikeII. 写作指导:1. 审题:本文任务要求先读一篇电子邮件,然后根据电子邮件的内容再回复一封,这样的难度较单纯写一封电子邮件要难许多,因为要对材料中的内容有准确的反 馈。如何写电子邮件?(可参考原文)( 1) 称呼:和普通英文书信一样,称呼后面用“逗号”。( 2) 正文: 和写英文书信相差不多, 都要在称呼的下一行, 但电子邮件可以顶格写,也可空出 3 到 5 个字母。另外,最好用问候语来开始邮件正文的内容,这样会让人读起来很

9、亲切。常用的问候语有很多种,可以根据需要来选择。正文要简洁明了,让人很快地读懂你的想法。重要的一点是,同学们必须根据提示内容将电子邮件的要点写全, 并注意词语和句式的选用。 而如果是回复电 子邮件,我们要将其中所提的问题一一解答清楚,而不要有所遗漏。( 3) 正文的最后:可以写上祝福语或者表达我们的心愿。如: I'm looking forward to hearing from you. / Please write to me soon. / Best wishes to you and your parents. / Good luck to you. / Take good c

10、are of yourself.( 4) 签名:分两行顶格写。这是电子邮件的特殊之处。2. 列纲:要将文中所提的问题一一解答清楚,而不要有所遗漏。3. 关联词 :First, Second, Third, Fourth, and, also besides, whats more,4. 连句成篇。5. 认真书写。III. 学生习作:Have the Ss finish the task in 10 minutes.(Ask twoSs to write on theBb.) 12、改要求:在批阅过程中,每篇书面表达都要有评语,还要有批改记录,如:对你认为是好词好句的用波浪线画出, 文章中的连接词把它圈起来, 并且可以写上自己想到的更好的替换词等。2. 教师点评: 先点评黑板上两位学生的习作,给予评分。找出文中亮点,指出错误的词句。然后叫下面的学生朗读其作文,再做评分。V. 参考范文:Dear Mike,How are you?
