There is much water in the thermos. Ten thousand tons of coal were produced last year. Reading and writing are very imp

50、ortant. The iron and steel industry is very important to our life. 例:a)There is a pen, a knife and several books on the desk. b)There are twenty

51、boy-students and twenty-threegirl-students in the class. 例:a)Either you or she is to go. b)Here is a pen, a few en velops and some paper for you. 3. 谓语动词与前面的主语一致当主语后面跟有 with, together with, like, except, but, no less tha n, as wellas等词引起的短语时,谓语动词与前面的主语一致。例:a)The teacher together with some stude nts is visit ing the factory. b)He as well as I wan ts to go boat in g.
