2、we meet them the first time.iii. They aren 't here.重点难点a. When you meet older people, you should shake hand with them and say,mynames Pat. It's nice to meet you.i. 该句中should表本建议和要求,息味 应该,具形式为should+动词原形。右改成一般疑问句,则把 should提到主语的前面。我们还可以在should刖面加上how, when, where, who等疑问副词,使其变成特殊疑问句。Eg. I shou
3、ld talk to them. 一® 疑问句:Should I talk to them?特殊疑问句:(划线部分提问)Who should I talk to?ii. When引导时间状语从句时,表示“当的时候”。它引导的时间状语从句通常用一般现在时表率一®将来时。所以该句子中用meet而不用will meet 。Eg. When you wait for a bus, you should line up.iii. Shake hands意思为 握手。握某人的手可以说成shake one'shand','和某人握手则为shake hands wi
4、th sb.'Eg. I dreamed of shaking hands with the chairman of my company.b. We usually don 't hug people when we meet them the first time.Don't可放在频度副词usually前回,也可放在匕后回,只是强调内谷稍有不同而已。 但放在前面的用法较多。Eg. We don't usually get up early when we have no classes.We usually don't get up early wh

7、f the window, I saw smoke.i. When引导的时间状语从句在第一单元我们已经学过,在此它表示主句和从句动作同时发生。又由课文对话可知,它描述的是过去发生的事情,所以该句的谓语 动词用的都是一般过去时Eg. When Tim heard the fire alarm, he got up quickly.ii. Look out of the windowb. - what did you do then?一I left my room. I didn't take my things.以前我们学过一些表顺序的副词,如first, next, then, aft
8、er that.通常用法为"first,Next, Then, After that,:用于回答 "what did you do?”一类的问句。它们还可用在问句中,如 what did you do then? / what did you donext? ”.其答句的时态应与问句一致。如该讲解句中用的是简单的一般过去时。Eg. What did you do next?We went outside quickly.c. - when I was young, I couldn't play with candles.一I couldn't either
9、.i. When用法很广,既可指某一瞬间,又可指某段时间,因此when引导的状语从句中的动词可以是瞬间动词,也可以是表示状态的持续性动词。该句表达的是某段 时间“小时候”。ii. Could是can的过去式。iii. Play with 是玩。iv. 答句中either是“也”的意思,用在否定句中。虽然该句是表同意对方观点的 意思,但我们仍然不能用too , too只能放在肯定句中。Also可用在句中。Eg. - When I lived there, I couldn't play with fire.- I couldn t either.Unit 3 Let s go shopp

11、 thick.该句是一个转折并列句,but是表转折的并列连词。Too用于形容词thick之前,意思 是“太,过于”Eg. The doll is cute but it's too expensive.b.That's not too expensive. I have enough money. I'll take that one.i. 句中too不是 也 的思思,而是修饰形谷词expensive,息为 太,过于 。Expensive后为 昂贵的 ,其反义词是cheap,思思是 便且的 。ii. Enough可用作副词,也可用作形容词。在此它作形容词,修饰名词mon

18、意为 令人惊奇的 ,与本课所学新单词surprising 同义,但 amazing的语气比surprising 更强。若以人作主语,则用其被动形式amazed或surprised 。Eg. I think whales are the most amazing/ surprising animals.They can get very old.ii. So在此作程度副词,意思是“很,非常”,相当于very。b. Whales live the longest.该句中long是副词,在此用了其副词最局级longest ,其构词法和形谷词相同,但别忘了在最高级前要加the。Eg. Deep-dee
19、pest; easily-most easily; quickly-most quickly; slowly- most slowlyBees and ants work the hardest.Cheetahs run the fastest.You walk the most slowly.c. Cheetahs run faster than any other animal.i. 该句中fast是副词,在此用了其副词比较级 faster ,其构词法和形谷词相同。Eg. Deep-deeper; quickly-more quickly; easily-moreeasily; slowl
20、y-more slowlyii. Any other 后为 其他任何一种(一个)。所以该句又可与成cheetahs runthe fastest. ”Eg. Tom jumps higher than any other student in his classroom.相当于 Tom jumps the highest in his class.You walk more slowly than any other animal.相当于 You walk the most slowly.Penguins can dive much deeper than people.Unit 6 Busy

I was at the library at 3:30. I was reading English newspapers.重点难点a. - where were you?-At 2:30, I was at

I was playing basketball with Peter and John.i. 问句用了一般过去时,表示对过去某一段时间状态的提问。答句中句的对问句的直接回答,日寸态与问句一致。第二句是对句的补充,是解说在那个时间点(at 2:30 )发生的事情,用的是过去进行时,该时态的本课重点。ii. 具形式为 was/ were + V-ing,表示仕过去某一时刻或某一段时间内进行或发生的动作,还可以表示在过去某个时间点发生的事情。本课接触的主要是最后 一种情况。Eg. Where were you?At 1:00, I was at the gym. I was p
23、laying basketball with Bob.b. - were you at the library?-Yes. I was at the library at 3:30. I was reading English newspapers.该问句是一般疑问句,用了一般过去时,表示对过去某一时间状态的提问。答句同讲解0Eg. Were you at the gym?Yes. We were at the gym at nine o'clock. We were doing martial arts.(练武术)Unit 7 Good memories学习目标学会用过去进行时连接

What were you doing when China got the 2008 Olympics?过去进行时和一般过去时经常在一个句子里同时使用。过去进行时表示过去正在进行的 情况或动作,一般过去时则表示比较短暂的动作或事件。该疑问句用了过去进行时,表
25、示过去某个时间点发生的事情。此处 when引导的从句表示时间点。Eg. What was Lily doing when the teacher came in?She was reading a magazine.b. I was doing homework when I saw the news on TV.该句也是过去进行时和一般过去时同时在一个句子里使用的情况。其问句是:Whatwere you doing when you saw the news on TV?Eg.
