4、in communication.II. Teaching Analysis:A. The analysis of teaching:This lesson is a reading passage. It plays a very important part in the English teaching of this module, because we should lay particular emphasis on the students reading ability in senior English teaching. In this passage, we should

5、 help the students get some knowledge about the different ways to communicate with others. This passage mainly describes some greetings in European and Asian countries. At the same time, we should get the students to understand some difficult sentences and comprehend the passage better. The Students

6、 should receive some moral education. Let the Students understand some ways of the non-verbal communication so that the students can increase their awareness of communication.B. Teaching important points:a. get to know the the structure of the passage.b. how to improve the students reading ability b

7、y skimming scanning and careful reading.C. Teaching difficult points:a. Use their own words to retell the text.b. Some difficult sentences in their passage.III. Teaching Process:Step one: Lead-inT: Good afternoon, class! Class, we had a greeting just now, how did it happen.Ss:.T: Right. We use words

8、 and sentences. Which action did we do at the same time when we greet each other?S: 鞠躬。T: Yes. We bowed. It is a kind of greeting, we called it body language. Step two: Pre-readingT: Now, please look at the screen. Here are some pictures about body language. Can you guess the meaning of them? The fi

9、rst one .Ss:.T: You have learned a lot body language in your daily life. Now please open your book and turn to page 22, lets learn a passage about this topic.Step three: While-readingFast reading:T: Lets focus on activity one, here are four titles, do you have any questions in understanding the mean

10、ing? Look at the passage, how many paragraphs are there? Ss: Five.T: In order to choose the best title or the main idea, we usually focus on the first and the last paragraph. Please read the first paragraph and the last paragraph as quickly as you can, choose the best title and tell me the reason.Ss

Because in the first paragraph, the last sentence, we see examples of unconscious body language very often, yet there is also “learned” body language which varies from culture to culture.Detailed Reading:Since we choose the title, now lets deal with the detailed information.Para.1 :
