High-paying jobs with long working hours often place too much stress on people, hurting them both physically and mentally. People who work long hours have a strong dedication to th

On the other hand, a lower-paying job with shorter hours would give me more time to rest and spend time with my friends and family, which I believe is more important than money. This can still give me a sense of satisfaction and joy, since family and friends are a vital par

Only through support and encouragement from my family and friends can I realize the real meaning of life and be happy with what I do. Briefly, even though a lower-paying

In my opinion, computers have really made our lives easier and more convenient in communicating, getting informed and doing resear

We see them in the streets, at work and many of us have one at home. While some people believe that computers ha

Computers have allowed scientists and researchers to concentrate on their jobs rather than wasting time manually collecting data and doing mathemati

For instance, mobile communication systems involve tremendous amounts data exchange every second between customers on opposite ends of the earth. How could this be possible without the aid of computers? Another exa

Without computers it would be pure guesswork. Besides, computers have made our education easier.
15、Computers have enabled us to learn and absorb information easier and cheaper. Many people can study at home without paying huge amount of tuition fees through computers connected to the internet. My uncle Johnson enjoys learning online. An experienced engineer as he is, he always insists that one sh

Thus, through my uncles experience, I recognize the value of this magic power (computer) for the cultivation of education. Certainly

Our society is in an increasingly fierce and cruel competition today, so an appropriate university education to the young generation is vita

The Whole point of my answer is that it is better for universities to require students to specialize in one

(The debate on whether a specialized or a liberal education is better has raged ford long time. I believe that in a world of fierce competition for employment, specialization is the best decis

Admittedly, more and more jobs require knowledge across disciplines and students who have taken courses in different subjects may meet that requirement since such a system endows its students with a comprehensive background of variou

Just imagine if you had forced Beethoven to study physics, literature, biology and math, would he have become such a great musician? The answer is pr
26、obably not. Specializing in one subject does not mean that the student only needs to take few courses. There are lots of elements to any subjects as well as related fields. Take computer science as an example, you not only need to study algorithms and programming, but also data structure, data minin

On the whole, if students have enough time and energy, and have already done well in a specialized area, universities should surely allow them to study some unrelated

Before rendering my opinion, lets consider the advantages for boys and girls to attend separate schools. Since boys and girls are different in many ways

If they attend separate schools, the education can be more efficient because the school can teach them differently according to their personalities. But the disadvantages of it is greater. While boys and girls attend separate schools, t

I believe that forcing boys and girls into different schools is neither realistic nor ideal for developing a

Since our society consists of both male and female members, students have to learn how to communicate and interact with the opposite sex. For example, if schools only h

Meeting female classmates every day will force boys to watch their behaviors carefully in order to look gentlemen-like in the girls eyes. Thus, they will improve their appearances as well as behaviors. (First of all, the reality of h

What is more, going to the same school gives both boys and girls chances to learn from each other. For instance, while females shou

By doing this, they will enhance their knowledge in both math and literature. If boys and girls are separated, there are fewer c

The idea that schools could be kept separate but equal was tried by the U.S. with regards to its African-American population for almost a hundred yea

The result was that one group was left unprepared to compete in the marketplace. In a world of increased competition, and lingering sexism, it is hard to belie

In addition, many schools activities need participation of both sexes, which will add more interests to the activities. For in
