1、外研版 初一英语 第六模块 第一单元教学设计 长海县第一中学 张旭 Module 6 The Olympic adventure Unit 1 Cycling is more dangerous than swimming.学生年级:初中一年级下 教学内容:外研版英语(新标准)Module 6 Unit 1(一) 教学内容分析本模块以体育运动为题材,学习内容贴近学生生活,为学生所熟悉,结合学校体育活动的开展及中国2008年北京奥运会的成功举办,便于开展课堂活动。每个班级都有对体育运动比较钟爱的学生,因此该话题易于激发学生的学习兴趣。通过该模块的学习,要求学生了解奥运会,了解不同国家与地区的体育
2、运动,并且根据自己的知识与喜好做一张与体育有关的招贴画,符合学生的认知水平,可以充分调动学生的积极性。本模块的重点是通过了解体育项目和奥运会,学会使用用形容词和副词来表达观点及部分双音节形容词和多音节形容词和副词的比较级的用法。在本模块的教学过程中,教师将始终以体育项目和奥运会来开展听、说、读、写的训练,利用语境帮助学生熟练使用部分双音节形容词和多音节形容词和副词比较级的用法,在此基础上要求学生归纳语法。第一单元为听说课,以中国人擅长的体育项目及Betty 和Daming喜爱的体育项目为对话内容,在此话题的谈论中自然融入两个人对不同体育项目的观点和相关体育项目的比较,让学生在语境中很好地了解本
3、单元语法的表意功能及其构成。 (二) 教学目标1. 知识目标:(1) 词汇:理解并掌握下列词语(准确发音、拼写,掌握词性,理解词义,并能真实运用)名词:adventure, gymnastics, 动词:ski, relax,形容词:Olympic, more, dangerous, popular, exciting, tiring, unpopular, boring, relaxing, safe, 副词:more 短语:be good at (2) 语法:能够在实际运用中体会和领悟多音节形容词比较级的语言形式的表意功能。(3) 功能: 能够在交际中恰当地运用形容词来描述运动项目,表达自
4、己的观点。2. 技能目标:听:能辨别表示运动的词语以及表达观点的形容词;能听懂相应的小对话或短文。说:能用比较级形式比较不同的体育项目3. 情感目标:通过本模块的学习,加深对体育项目的理解,养成爱好体育运动的习惯。4. 学习策略:(1) 自学策略:能自己检索有关体育运动项目或奥运会的资料并进行阅读。(2) 合作学习策略:将自己所收集到的信息与其他同学共享。(3) 其他:利用图片与文字的联系,建立概念与所指之间的直接关联,减少母语的干扰。(三) 教学资源与工具设计1. 教师教学资源教材提供的资源,多媒体教学设备,PPT教学课件。2. 学生学习资源多媒体教室,教材, PPT教学课件(四) 教学过程
5、. Experience 感知体验Step 1 Lead-in 【操作方式】 教师展示春天的图片,询问学生喜欢什么运动,在得到几个答案后因势利导,告诉学生本课标题,让学生初步感知本节课的语法。T: Spring is here. The weather is getting warmer and warmer. Lets go out and do sports. Ok? S: Ok. T: What sports do you like?S: I like basketball/ football/T: Today lets know more sports. Lets learn Modu
6、le6 Unit1. 设计意图:导入话题,激发兴趣。Step2 Presentation【操作方式】教师根据本课标题说中国人擅长游泳,我们也擅长其他运动,如乒乓球和体操等。在NBA有一位非常著名的篮球明星,他来自中国,他是谁?引出姚明及篮球运动。因势利导借助图片、单词创设语境,教会学生在语境中使用单词,并能用形容词来表达自己对体育运动的观点。T: Chinese are good at swimming. We are also good at other sports, such as table tennis and gymnastics. In NBA there is a famous
7、 basketball star, he is very good at basketball, he is from Shanghai. Who is he?S: YaoMing.1. 教师展示图片,引出本课新单词。T: Is it right? Look at the picture. Do you like him? Do you like basketball? Lets watch a video.T: Is it exciting? S: Yes. 2. 教师展示有关运动的图片,教授新单词。T: . I think basketball is exciting.S: read th
8、e word “exciting” and say the sentence “Basketball is exciting.T: How about these sports? S: Read the new words and make sentences with the new words in the pictures.Eg: Gymnastics is difficult. /Skiing is dangerous. Table tennis is popular. /Cycling is tiring and boring. 9、e.设计意图:教师根据图片以及单词,在语境中教单词,帮助学生学会正确使用单词并能表达自己对体育运动项目的不同观点。Step3 Check 【操作方式】教师提供一组练习:看图片快速说出单词; 听单词标序号;总结所学的形容词;抢答形容词的反义词比赛。1. 教师展示图片,学生快速说出单词。T: We have learned so many sports, lets look at the picture and say the sports quickly.S: basketball, table tennis, football, gymnastics, cycling, running, sk
10、iing.2. 教师播放听力材料,学生将听到的有关运动的单词标出序号。T: Turn to Page 32 and look at Activity 1. lets listen to a dialogue about sports and number the sports as you hear them. Check the answers together.3. 教师展示本课重点形容词,学生齐读单词。T: Just now Lingling says table tennis is popular and gymnastics is dangerous. Do you know oth
11、er word like this? Show the words and get the ss to read together.S: popular, dangerous, exciting, tiring, boring, relaxing.4. 教师组织形容词的反义词比赛,学生抢答。 T: We know many words like this. Lets play a game : “find the opposite words. If you know the answer, stand up and say. I will see who is the first one?

Safe, easy, boring, cheap, unpopular, relaxing.设计意图:采用多种方式检测学生对本课单词的掌握情况。Step 4 Presentation【操作方式】教师提供两项体育项目和相关的形容词的图片,采用选择疑问句的方式,引导学生学会使用部分双音节形容词和多音节形容词的比较级的用法,并根据例句总结部分双音节形容词和多音节形容词比较级的语法规则。1. 教师展示图片并提问,学生回答。T: Look at the picture. Which is more exciting, basketball or ta

T: What about skiing and running?S1: Skiing is more dangerous than running.S2: Running is more tiring than skiing.T: What about gymnastics and cycling?S1: Gymnastics is more difficult than cycli

16、ng.S1: Skiing is more dangerous than running.S2: Running is more relaxing than basketball. 设计意图: 由问题导出本课语法,降低了学生学习的难度。教师提供了充足的有关多音节和部分双音节形容词比较级的练习,让学生在语境中运用语法,并通过例句总结语法规则,提高了学生的学习效率。 Practice 语言实践Step 5 Listen and read.【操作方式】(1)听录音,选出最佳答案:提醒学生先阅题再听,有针对性得听。(2)跟读对话:打开书33页,跟读对话,提醒学生注意单词在句子中的重读。步骤为:第一遍学
17、生仔细听录音,选出最佳答案。第二遍放录音,学生一句一句跟读。(3)学生两人一组读对话,完成Page 33 Activity 5, 找出Betty 和 Daming 最喜爱的运动。(4)小组分角色读。学生两人一组,选择自己喜爱的人物朗读。 使朗读课文变得鲜活有趣,很大程度地提高了练习的积极性。(5)展示有关对话内容的表格,要求学生小组合作完成表格。小组合作使学生有机会相互帮助,全员积极参与课堂活动,提高了教学效果。(6) 复述对话: 要求学生根据表格提供的信息,复述Bettty 和 Daming对体育运动的不同观点。1. T: We like different sports. We are g

Please practice and then try to retell.S: Practise and retell.步骤:一人一句,进行两组;一人总结Betty, 进行两组;一人总结Daming, 进行两组;整个表格,进行两组。设计意图: 采用多种教学方法和练习方式,训练
21、学生的听说能力。本部分由听对话选择最佳答案,跟读对话,两人一组读对话,选出Betty 和 Daming最喜爱的运动,完成表格并复述,一系列活动构成,强化了学生对本课对话内容和语法的运用和理解,以求达到最佳的教学效果。 Use 真实运用Step 6 Talk about the sports they like.【操作方式】 1. 在对话中经过了大量的体验,深入地强化训练后,可以进行语言的输出。正如Daming 和 Betty 对体育运动有不同的观点,每一个人都有自己喜爱的运动,对于不同的体育运动项目都有自己的观点,学生谈论自己喜爱的运动及原因。3. 几个学生根据图片回答问题。4. 学生两人一组
22、,谈论他们喜爱的运动并且汇报。5. 教师播放健康歌,学生在歌声中升华本课的知识。1. 教师展示图片并提问,让几个学生回答问题。T: We have known Bettys and Damings favorite sports. Lets say something about you. What sports do you like? Why?S: I like table tennis because its more popular than gymnastics.2. 教师要求学生两人一组谈论他们喜爱的运动。T: Lets work in pairs and talk about t
23、he sports you like and then share your favourite sports together.S: I like table tennis. Its more popular than any other sports in China, and its more exciting than running. But its more dangerous than running and cycling.教学反思: 本课是EPU英语教学模式下的一节听说课。我设计本课时严格按照EPU英语教学模式下的听说课教学实施流程进行,由Experience感知体验到 Practice 语言实践再到 Use 真是运用。通过师生对话,我借助各种辅助教学手段如多媒体、图片、PPT课件、磁带呈现对话内容,帮助学生理解听说内容。先以理解为核心,设计多种活动,如排序、选出最佳答案,来检测学生的理解程度,然后再模仿磁带跟读、两人一组朗读,实现由在师生对话、生生对话或小组合作的活动立足课文情境,围绕主要句型进行转换或替换练习,达到深入理解内化所学知识的目的,实现由口语与书面语的对接,加深学生的理解。在此基础上围绕课文内容,提供表格信息,要求学生根据表格信息复述对话内容,实现语言的输出。最后模拟真实交际活动情境,让学生“用语言来做事情”,即用本课所学的新单词和语法来谈论自己喜爱的运动项目,
