3、完成1b 造句(不能抄袭例句)P34 27. 学习。熟读课本上的例句,并用when/while _ 三知识链接 时间状语从句1.定义:用表示时间的连词连接一个句子作状语,这样的主从复合句就是时间状语从句。连接时间状语从句的连接词有:when, before, after, while, as soon as, until, since. 这里要注意一点的是,如果主句是一般将来时,从句只能用一般现在时表示将来意义。 分类1.由when, while, as引导的时间状语从句。 When you think you know nothing, then you begin to know some

5、语动词可以是延续性的动词,又可以是瞬 时动词。并且when有时表示“就在那时”。 When she came in, I stopped eating.她进来时,我在吃饭。 When I lived in the countryside, I used to carry some water for him. 当我住在农村时,我常常为他带水。 We were about to leave when he came in.我们就要离开,就在那时他进来了。 while引导的从句的谓语动作必须是延续性的,并强调主句和从句的动作同时发生(或者相对应)。并 可以表示对比。有时还while且 While

(was reading是延续性的动词,was reading和was watching同时发生) I like playing football while you like playing basketball.我喜欢踢足球,而你喜欢打篮球。 as表示“一边一边”,as引导的动作是延续性的动作,一般用于主句和从句动作同时发生;as 也可以强调“一先一后。 We always sing as we walk.我们总是边走边唱。 As we was going out, it began

7、 to snow.当我们出门时,开始下雪了。 (as强调句中两个动作紧接着先后发生,而不强调开始下雪的特定时间) 2.由before和after引导的时间状语从句。注意before引导的从句不能够用否定式的谓语,并且当before引导的从句位于主句之后,有时译成“就,才”。还要注意主句和从句之间的时间关系。当主句用将来时,从句总是用现在时;如果before引导的从句谓语用的是过去时,则主句动词多用过去完成时,这样以便体现动作发生的先后。After表示主句动作发生在从句动作之后。主句和从句的动作的时间关系正好与before引导的从句相反。如: It will be four days befor

15、s in the east of China. 上海位于中国的东部。(上海是中国的一个行政区域,在中国的疆域之内) The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. 太阳东升西落。 说明:表示某个地方的地理位置时,be,lie 以及 be located 的意义是一样的,可以互换使用。 2. on 表示方位,含义是“在端/边”,即一个地方在另一个地方的某一端或某一边,两个地方只是相邻或接壤,却互不管辖。例如: Guangdong Province is on the southeast of Guangxi. 广东省在广西的东南边。(广东省与广西在

16、地理位置上是连在一起的,即两者相邻,却互不管辖) China faces the Pacific on the east. 中国东临太平洋。(中国与太平洋相邻) The country is bounded on the west by the sea.那个国家西边与海接界。(暗指该国为沿海国家) Sichuan Province is on the north of Guizhou Province. 四川省在贵州省的北边。(四川省与贵州省) 在地理上也是连在一起的,但互不管辖 3. to 表示方位,含义是“在面”,即一个地方在另一个地方的范围之外,互不管辖。尤其当两个地方相隔较远,且有湖泊

17、、大海等区域相隔时,通常用 to。例如: Japan is to the east of China. 日本在中国的东面。(日本在中国范围之外,且有日本海分隔) Taiwan is to the southeast of Fujian Province. 台湾在福建省的东南面。(台湾在福建省的范围之外,且两者之间有台湾海峡分隔) Jinzhou is to the west of Shenyang. 锦州在沈阳的西面。(锦州和沈阳分别为两座城市,地理位置上互不相连,也互不管辖) There is a beautiful park to the east of the station. 车站东面
