2、 of all time.it was a great success,earning the praise of many reviwers,charlottee bronte,charlotte bronte (april 21,1816-march 31,1855) was an english novelist.her mother died when she was young.she lived a poor life with her father and three sisters.her father often read story books for her so she

3、 had much interest in writing since she was a child.though jane eyre is not an autobiography,it expresses the authors life and feelings to some degree,main works,novel: 1847: jane eyre 1849: shirley 1853: villette 1857: the professor verse: 1835: from retrospection 1846: poems by currer,ellis and ac

4、ton bell,the novel goes through five distinctive stages,1.janes childhood.she is emotionally abused by her aunt and cousins.she is isolated and powerless but she survives. 2.her education experience at lowood school,where she acquires friends and role models.she distinguishes herself but also suffer

5、s privations. 3.her time as the governess of thornfield manor,where she falls in love with her employer,eward rochester. 4.her time with the rivers family at marshs end,where her cold cousin puts forward marriage proposal to her. 5.bythe end of this novel,she has become a powerful,independent woman

6、and she married rochester,when nobody love you,you are more supposed to love yourself,when we look back at janes early life,we find she is really miserable.she is bullied by her aunt and cousins.she cant get the love from parents as other kids.but she tell herself when nobody love you,you are more s

7、upposed to love yourself.so she perserves her pursuit to warmth and eventually she obtians happiness and find a soul mate,do you think, because i am poor, obscure, plain, and little, i am soulless and heartless? you think wrong! i have as much soul as you and full as much heart! and if god had gifte

8、d me with some beauty and much wealth, i should have made it as hard for you to leave me, as it is now for me to leave you. i am not talking to you now through the medium of custom, conventionalities, nor even of mortal flesh: it is my spirit that addresses your spirit; just as if both had passed th

9、rough the grave, and we stood at gods feet, equal as we are!,good sentences,this is what jane said to rochester,which makes me admire her.she doesnt feel ashamed or self-abased because of her poorness.their states in the society are obviously diferent but she holds the view that everybody is equal a

10、nd has the same soul as each other.and no one can look down upon you without your admission,in my opinion,jane eyre is a representative of feminism,of course so is the author,charlottee bronte.because this book is based on the authors experience and expressed what the author thinks,low state of wome

11、n in charlottee brontes age,in charlottee brontes age,discrimination towards women is very serious.women have no rights and they are not educated well.besides,the state of women is really low.some traditional thought is deep and they just accept that without rebel,in the 19th century,europe came to

12、capitalist and living standard improved.people gradually put more concentration on themselve.and women began to get rid of traditional thought which has restrained them for a long time.feminists advocated equality and tried to break the discrimination about gender,feminism prevailed in 19th century,

13、in the history of english literature,19th is an important age,when feminism prevails and full of femine writers.they shape the image of wise,kind,brave women,in this age,the most typical works from female writers are:jane eyre,prejudice and proud by jane austin ,mary barton by mrs.gaskell,i start to

14、 wonder that in the world where there is obvious distinction among different social classes, can people really be equal,it seems that we are not equal since we are born.we come from different families and background.like jane,she lost her parents when she is very young and she is much more miserable

15、 than those kids who are in rich families.what she cant afford is what others spend freely,however,there are many example which show that people from poor families struggle really hard and eventually manage to change their fate. in contrast, there are also some people from rich families degenerate and become a loser. they dont need to struggle for their life and they have nothing to do so their mental world is pretty vacant.therefore,our fate is still up to ourselves,besides,i think the difference is mainly embodied with mat
