2、 falling objects./Stay away from buildings and trees.等句子。2.熟练掌握“有关灾难中自救”的文章,能够听懂并从中获取有效信息。3.通过一系列听说练习流利地和他人交流。4.能用所学词汇和句型进行表达。【教学重难点】重点:掌握本课的词汇和短语。难点:短语和句式的实际运用。【课前准备】多媒体课件,录音机,实物投影仪 教学过程设计 教学过程一、创设情境,切入主题Step 1:Warming up多媒体展示地震图片。T:Boys and girls,what happened in the picture?Ss:There is an earthqu

3、ake.T:Yes.Can you describe it?S1:Yes.The earthquake happened in the daytime.S2:Many houses fell down.S3:.T:OK.Well done! But how can we save ourselves in an earthquake?Now this lesson we will talk about an earthquake.Are you ready?设计意图:此环节利用图片展示,师生间的对话导入本课的话题“地震”,利用会话将学生带入地震现场,预热本课的词汇和句型。二、展开过程,探究新知

4、Step 2:PrereadingTeach phrases and practice the sentence patterns.Present the new words:earthquake,calm,object,system,survival,stay away from,stay calm.Show some pictures of the new words on the screen.T:Try to read these words.And this will help you to learn the lesson.Are you ready?Ss:Yes!T:Please

5、 read after me.(The Ss follow the teacher two times)(给学生几分钟的时间背诵)设计意图:向学生呈现本课的生词,为下面学习课文做好充分的准备,师生互动,再次为下面的阅读做准备。Have a competition game to practice the sentence pattern in pairs.T:Now lets play a word game.教师把全班分为8个小组进行争夺获胜组游戏,教师通过屏幕展示分类的图片,要求学生把学过的生词归类并造句,说出单词最多、造句最多的组为获胜组!设计意图:通过竞赛游戏的方式充分调动学生主动参与

6、的积极性,增添了学生语言学习的乐趣,使学生在操练中潜移默化地感知本课的词汇和语法。让学生有多种感官体验,突破本课教学重难点。Step 3:WhilereadingTask 1 Scan reading(速读).T:Boys and girls,now that you have known something about an earthquake,lets read the passage to get more about it.Please read quickly and do the Exercise 1 on Page 43.I will give you two minutes.

7、When you find the answer,stand up and speak it out!If your answer is right,you will win a star for your group!Are you ready?Go!设计意图:本活动要求学生快速把握课文信息,学会找关键句,快速跳读,以找出答案为目的。小组之间进行竞争,学生积极性高,课堂利用率高。Task 2:Careful reading(细读).T:Well done!Boys and girls!Now this time,I will make the exercise a little more d

8、ifficult.Read the article again and complete the Exercise 2 on Page 43.And there is still a competition between you.I will give you five minutes.If you know the answers,write them down.And you will win stars for your group.Clear?Go!Ss:Yes!设计意图:第二次阅读,问题更加细化,着重考查文章当中的细节性问题,更深层次地理解文章。Task 3 Read the ar

9、ticle aloud after the recorder.教师播放视频,播放一句,暂停一次,学生观看视频并跟读对话。T:Boys and girls,please read after the video and you should pay more attention to your pronunciation and intonation,try your best to imitate it,clear?设计意图:本活动设计在读课文两遍后,学生对课文内容已经有了一定的了解,跟着视频大声朗读课文可以加深对文章的理解,并且对于学生准确的发音以及培养他们的语感有重要的作用。Task 4

10、Work in group of 8 to deal with the key words,phrases and sentences.教师把学生分为8人一组,学生通过合作探究找出大屏幕上的重点句子,并学习。the key words,phrases and sentences:1.Stay calm as the earth begins to shake and move.当大地开始摇晃和移动时保持镇静。stay calm保持镇静。stay此处为系动词,意为“保持的状态”。calm形容词,“平静的;镇静的”,用在stay后作表语。2. An earthquake is dangerous,

11、but there are things you can do to protect yourself. 地震很危险,但也有一些措施可以保护你自己。本句中的to do不定式作目的状语。3. You need to have something strong around you to protect you from falling objects. 你需要周围有结实的东西以避免下落的物体伤着你。something strong结实的东西。形容词修饰不定代词要后置。object名词,“物体”,failing objects下落的物体。4.Stay away from buildings and

12、 trees.远离建筑物和树。stay away from远离。5. If you are close to the sea,try to get as far away from the water as possible. 如果你离大海很近,尽可能地远离水。as.as possible尽可能,相当于as.as sb. can。6. Your chances of survival in an earthquake go up if you stay calm. 如果你保持镇静,在地震中逃生的机会就会增多。survival名词,“生存”,其动词是survive。设计意图:学生应是学习的主体,

13、教师要努力调动学生学习的积极性和主动性,通过组内合作讨论,探究,找出对话中的关键单词和短语,把所学的知识转化为学习能力。Task 5 Drill Time.Do Exercise 3 on Page 43.Step 4:Game Time教师把全班分为8组合作探究,讨论地震后我们该做什么。最后小组代表到前面利用投影仪边说边展示他们的成果,根据表演程度加星。这样掌握知识深刻,不易忘记,达到了教学的目的。T:Boys and girls!In todays lesson we talk about what we can do to help after an earthquake.Several
