GoforitGrade7Chen Fangli(陈芳莉)from Jianping Middle School, SantaiSection 1 The teaching aims Knowledge aims: To learn some new expressions, such as “be happy to do sth” “be on a vacation in the mountains” “(be) right for walking”.Ability aims: To get a better understanding of the weather and the present progressive tense and get the skills and strategies to read a prolonged text. Emotion aims: To encourage the students to help those who need help, talk about their different opinions and learn from each other so that they can make more progress together.Section 2 Teaching key points and difficult pointsTeaching key points: To fluently talk about the weather and correctly use the present progressive tense.Teaching difficult points: How to get the main information from reading, and improve the reading strategies.Section 3 The teaching methodsThe sources of V2 and PPT will make the class more interesting and efficient. To organize different kinds of activities, such as Pair work, Role play, Group work, Group Competition and so on. Based on the differences among the students, I try my best to get all of the students involved in my class and help them to achieve more progress. Strategies of the task activities help students learn more from the tasks and exercises, and put what they have learnt into use.Section 4 Teaching proceduresPreview the lesson before class 1. Think about the lesson according to the pictures. 2. Practice reading the new words and remember them in groups. 3. Try to study the text by themselves, mark the important points and the problems if they have.4.
