内容摘要 在相当长的一段时间内，传统教学方法都占据着主导地位。教师强调语言本身，如 语音，词汇和语法，而忽视培养学生的文化意识和跨文化交际能力。因此，即便学生学 了多年英语，当他们与英语为母语的人面对面进行交流的时候，仍然感到手足无措。大 学英语教学一直受四六级英语考试指挥棒的影响。四六级英语考试被认为是科学和有效 的。诚然，这两种考试在一定程度上促进了大学英语教学，但大学英语教学仍然存在诸 多问题。当前，书面语仍然是大学英语教学的主要方面。英语口语教学非常不足。大多 数学生只是记忆教学大纲中罗列出来的词汇。他们能阅读较难的专业文章却无法恰当地 与英语为母语的人进行口头交流。另外一个不足之处是大学英语教学对学生的文化素质 培养不够，因此学生的跨文化交际能力没有提高。 针对大学英语教学中存在的问题，本人试图找到种给非英语专业学生教授英语的 更加有效的方法。本论文试图探讨英文原版电影在二语习得中的作用。英文原版电影是 最令人活跃的教学工具。大多数学生喜欢观看英文原版电影，感受原汁原味的语言材料。 电影的最接近生活的会话语言，生动逼真的视觉直观情景，为学生提供理想的二语习得 环境，同时也为教师的教学提供了广阔的空间。 电影语言情景教学并不是盲目的，而是建立在以下的理论基础上的：输入假设、情 感过滤假设、学习者学习动机研究，文化教学，交际教学法，音像结合的教学手段以及 语境化教学。按照输入假设的观点，教师应该让学习者接触到大量具有实际意义，又生 动有趣，并要有所关联的信息。情感过滤假设要求教师营造学习者情感过滤低的学习环 境，在此环境中学生就会自然习得语言。学习者学习动机理论认为，学习者学习动机起 着至关重要的作用。对于教师来说，找出办法激励学生的学习动机是很重要的。文化教 学则强调重视在英语语言教学中培养交际能力的重要性。交际教学法的教学目标是培养 学生运用语言的能力。音像结合的教学手段强调全面真实地展示语言信息，变抽象为直 观，充分调动学生的感官去积极捕捉并理解语言信息。现代英语教学理论重视语境化的 教学，强调为学生提供真实的英语语言环境。因此电影作为新鲜、高级的视听手段和汇 聚真实语料的宝库，它对英语听说教学的可行性和有效性是勿庸置疑的。 为了研究电影在激发学生学习动机和利用电影进行英语口语教学方而的效果j 作者 选择了两个班级共1 1 0 个学生作为研究对象，分为实验组和控制组，运用不同的语言素 材载体进行教学。实验组接受的是以电影为语言素材载体的口语课，而对照组接受的是 i i i 以传统课木为语言载体的口语课。实验组的课堂教学活动由作者根据电影的特点进行设 计，而对照组则依据课本组织教学活动。 文章通过两份问卷和两次口语测试收集数据。在学期结束前，第一份问卷调查实验 组和控制组学生学习动机的强度变化。在学期结束后，第二份问卷调杳了实验组学生对 使用电影进行口语教学的态度。实验组和控制组在学期开始和学期结束时各接受了一次 1 2 1 语测试。文章采用s p s s ( 社会科学统计软件包) 对两次口语测试数据进行了分析。 问卷和测试数据统计结果初步证明，电影作为语言载体能够更好地激发学生的学习 动机，通过电影进行英语口语教学比使用传统教材能取得更好的教学效果。统计结果还 表明由于电影语言的真实特性，实验组学生对运用电影进行口语教学持肯定态度。这些 结论为英语教师在语言课堂上使用电影进行口语教学提供了理论和实践依据。最后，本 文指出了此项研究的局限和不足之处，并且为将来的相关研究提出了参考建议。
