摘要 威廉巴特勒叶芝是1 9 2 3 年诺贝尔文学奖得主，英国2 0 世纪诗坛的领军人 物，爱尔兰阿贝剧院的创始人和主要撰稿人之，常年在诗歌领域进行创作和创 新，在诸如后浪漫主义，唯美主义，象征主义，现实主义和现代主义等多个领域 取得的傲人的成就。其诗歌风格多变，由早期的浪漫主义向现实主义，现代主义 到后期的杂糅象征与玄学结合。因其曾从事神学及玄学的研究，并受印度宗教影 响，诗歌到后期多以表现象征和对世界内涵本源的探讨。面具理论与螺旋理论成 为叶芝有代表性的哲学成就。一直以来，叶芝都是爱尔兰诗歌与戏剧界的代表人 物，尤其对推动2 0 世纪爱尔兰文艺复兴做出了突出贡献。 在国内外众多的有关叶芝诗歌的研究中，对其诗歌中的女性形象的研究始终 没有真正深入下去。长久以来人们对叶芝诗歌中女性形象的关注多集中在叶芝早 年爱慕的女演员茉德岗身上，多数人认为叶芝诗歌以歌颂该女士的美貌及表达 对其求而不得的思念及伤感为主。这种观点在本文看来是站不住脚的。事实上， 叶芝作品中的女性形象以其丰富多彩和反映作者创作心理而变得尤为可圈可点。 本文将从叶芝诗歌创作中众多女性形象出发对其进行细致分类，探讨他诗歌中所 追求的母题，进而探讨作者叶芝相关创作心理与目标，以求推动对叶芝子诗歌创 作的研究的深入展开。在进行女性形象的塑造中，叶芝反映出其本人潜意识中的 追求一种母题的倾向。 叶芝早期诗歌中女性形象创作，正值男性地位受到女性平权运动的挑战，男 性作家对完美女性的追求成为大多数作家创作的时尚，叶芝在创作中结合他与茉 德岗的情感经历，塑造出了多以美貌温婉为特征的女性形象，但这些形象几乎 没有体现出现代女性的精神追求。晚期诗歌中塑造的的女性形象受到叶芝宗教信 仰理解的影响的同时也受到爱尔兰民族主义的影响，崇尚神秘哲学和神学，崇尚 血统与贵族思想，此时的女性形象多为艺术表现者( 传承艺术追求与永恒的追 求) ，或为感悟的智者，女性形象个体仍然不体现个体精神追求，但已开始明确 表现诗人对世界的探索和理论的追求，世俗的追求转为精神和真理的追求了。而 单就女性形象塑造的个体面言，女性形象从早期美好形象转向晚期表达更为含
