(她自学英语)五、指示代词 主要有：this,that,these,those等，this/ these指较近的人、物、时间，that/those指较远的人、物、时间。指示代词在句中可以作主语、宾语、表语或定语。如： My idea is that .(作表语) This bag is Li Leis .(作定语) 提示：（1）有时候that/those指前文提到过的事物。this/ these指下面将要提到的事物。如： We dont agree that plan .(我们不同意那项计划) The boss often tells his workers these words , “No pains ,no gains.”（老板经常告诉他的工人下面这句话：“不付出就没有收获”） （2）有时为了避免重复上文提到过的名词，常用that/those代替。如： The weather in China is colder than that in England now . (3)用于打电话。如： -Hello ,who is that speaking ? -This is Mary speaking .六、不定代词 不定代词指未表明的所代替的任何特定名词或形容词的词。 （1）易混的不定代词 it和one1)it所代替的是前文提到的那件特指的事物，one所代替的是前面提到的同类事物，但不是同一件。如：I lost my watch, and I think I must buy a new one .I bought a new pen yesterday, and I gave it to my brother .2)one和 ones可与 the,this,that,these,those,which 等词连用，而it不行。如：-Do you know that boy ? -Which one ? -The one under the tree .3)当说话人对谈论到的人的性别不明时，可用it代替he/she。如：-Who is knocking at the door? -It must be Ling Feng. both和 all both表示“两者都”；all指“三者或三者以上都”。如：His parents are both doctors .We are all getting ready for the final exam . little,a little,few,a few little 和a little修饰不可数名词；few和a few 修饰可数名词。其中a little和a few指“一些”，表肯定；little和few指“很少、几乎没有”，表示否定。如： I can speak a little English(我会说点英语)。 There is few apples in the fridge ,I must buy some . no,none和no one no用来否定名词，相当于not any 和not a；none不仅指人也可以指物，可以与短语连用；no one 只用于指人，不可以与of短语连用，谓语用单数.如： There is no water in the glass .（杯子里没有水了） None of us is a doctor. （我们中没有人是医生）No one is late for school .（没有人上学迟到）提示：no one 常用来回答who引导的疑问句； none常用来回答 how many/how much引导的疑问句。 many 和much many 和much表示数量“多”，可以作代词或形容词，many修饰可数名词，much修饰不可数名词。 another,the other,others 和the others1) 表示两个人或事中“一个，另一个”时，用onethe other 如：I have two brothers.One is a worker,the other is a teacher.2)表示不定数目中“另一个”时，用another.如：I dont want this one.Please give me another one .3) other+名词复数others the other+名词 复数the others some 和any some 和any都是用来修饰可数名词，some用于肯定句中，any用于否定句和疑问句中。但some也可以用于有礼貌的邀请、建议或征求对方的意见的疑问句中。Any用于肯定句中则表示“任何一个”。如： When shall we meet next week? Any day is OK.
